“Kickshaws was one of the highlights of our intimate wedding! Their catering menu is huge, so it was hard to pick dishes because everything looked so mouthwatering and creative. In the end, it was all delicious and everyone raved about the food. Paulette and Seth were easy to coordinate with and they were accommodating of all of our special requests. Definitely stop by their food truck or hire them for your next event!”
“What a cool little hidden gem in Kalaheo! They have really done a great job creating a very cozy place to enjoy a few drinks with friends, and listen to live music by artists, from all over the island! It is a family owned and run business, and they really go out of their way to make you feel like a part of the family.”
“The food is really good. I had an omlet with the grilled cornbread and hashbrowns. The omlet was very tasty. I ate the whole thing. You have to get the grilled corn muffin for breakfast. Their lunch is good too. They have local beef for their burgers. They are open for dinner on some evenings and the dinner is just as good. It also has a bakery with pastries and sliced cake. Very yummy. They have plenty of staff that help get you seated and clean up quickly so others can get a table. You order first then get seated. It all works out. It has a diner feel to it. You can sit outside or inside. It is a popular spot so come with patience while you wait in line.”
“Amazing coffee!! They can ship to your house!! So I was able to get more coffee and not have to carry it in my luggage. So smart. Self guided tour was great - wish we had booked the guided tour! Sold out fast!”
“Great service and experience! The Caramel Bar was sooooo good!! Plenty of other treats I am wanting to try next time to help satisfy my sweet tooth, definitely will return.”
“Loved going to this truck when it was parked at The Warehouse in Lawai. I've eaten tacos and burrito bowls from here it's always delicious and the service is so fast and friendly , they will answer any questions you may have about the menu. I came here more than a few times I really enjoyed it. And the prices were decent too, not too expensive.”
“I bought 2 mini pies at a farmers market, the lemon and chocolate coconut macaroon. Both pies were excellent, and the crust is amazing. What ever recipe they have for that crust is amazing. Best pie crust I've ever had.”
“Please lower your prices back to what they were. We would love to eat here more often, but the price jacking has forced us to stop eating here (and other places on island). we were getting pizzas 1x every 2 weeks, but can now only afford 1x every 2 months. Please lower the prices.”
“Amazing view and even better food. The grilled fish tacos were exactly what I expect for fish tacos. Corn tortillas, white grilled fish (but you can get fried), cabbage slaw and good sauces. Chile relleno was also done perfectly. Will definitely go back!”
“I was surprised, and not in a good way. First, that ube mochi was a real treat and was an unusual and positive surprise. I was expecting, based on the name and a few previous reviews that there would be fresh cookies but all they had were packaged cookies. Also, we got the impression there was coffee but they weren't serving any.Overall, the store seemed to be trying to be a lot of things to a lot of people, leaving the focus unclear. But if you want a fresh local meal, this may be your spot. But "cookie" isn't high on the list of descriptive words I would use.Parking: Lot in the back of the store.Kid-friendliness: My kids had snacks, specifically fruit snacks (of all things!), and were satisfied by the options.”
“Good service and short wait despite having a lot of customers. They have a large amount of seating in the area too. We got a shrimp pad thai and it was good. A little pricey and the taste for good and we were very satisfy with it.They have a spring roll and some drink options. Also have a sushi too.”
“We have heard great things about this truck, so we finally tried it and are so glad we did! We ordered the shrimp tacos and Cali Burrito, and both were delicious. The salsas were particularly good, with the right amount of heat. I look forward to going back and trying other items on the menu!”
“5 stars all around! The grilled cheese pulled pork was possibly the best sandwich I’ve ever had. Mac salad was great, even the keiki hot dog was great. Owner was super personable and elevated our already great ”
“Wow, amazing little spot for a vegan meal! We loved that they’re 100% vegan. Both the tacos and Thai salad were so fresh and delicious. We highly recommend this place for a healthy meal!”
“Absolutely loved the coffee here! Espresso is nicely roasted and shines through whatever beverage you get! The service is fantastic and very friendly! The sleeper beverage here is definitely the chai, a must try in my opinion. If you’re in the area stop by Eden Coffee!!!”
“If the fact that we came here 3 times for shaved ice in one week doesn't say how much we enjoyed it then I don't know what would! The best shaved ice I have ever had in Hawaii! Served with a smile and some local suggestions, a generous portion with naturally made fruit flavored syrups (you can totally tell) and a huge scoop of ice cream topped with some macadamia nuts and I am now adding them as a rotation into my diet. A small food cart, conveniently located across from a beautiful snorkel spot and some vacation rentals, there is limited street parks that we didn't have trouble finding but can see it being busy in the summer. Will be my first stop when I'm back in Kauai!”
“A great little ice cream shop with delicious vegan options. While sorbet is not particularly appealing when what you want is ice cream, the sorbetto here is close enough to vegan ice cream that those who can’t eat dairy can have something as great as those who can. Both ice cream and sorbetto had tons of options and great toppings.”
“Amazing place. We made reservations for our last night on the island as we were here for our honeymoon. They knew it was our honeymoon so gave us a special private table with exceptional views of the fish pond, the grounds and just the right amount of breeze. Service was amazing, food was incredible all for a reasonable price. Honestly, if we knew it would be a trio winner with excellent service, excellent food, excellent atmosphere for what we thought was a reasonable cost we would have eaten here more. The crab cakes were fabulous, Hawaiian plate fantastic and the husband loved the swordfish. For sure need advance reservations but well worth the planning! Wander the grounds before/after and take in the beauty.”
“Nice cafe with a hip vibe of the 1950s diner. The food is well prepared with local ingredients. The Mushroom soup is very tasty and so is the chili. They have a lunch special with soup, salad, roll sushi and flat bread.”
“Stopped at food truck on my way up to the canyon. Great food! I got the Pork Belly came with rice and macaroni salad. Pork belly was perfectly seasoned then cooked on a flat top grill. Great flavors and only 12 bucks! Must try.”
“Some people take a long time ordering or have a large order. It's best (for those waiting in line behind you) if you call ahead with your order, or at least know what you want before you get to the register.”
“Great prices, large servings and delicious açaí bowls! Highly recommend visiting here when in the area. There are a few tables to sit at but you can also take it to a nearby beach and enjoy outside.”
“Wow! If you are looking for a shave ice that isn’t sickly-sweet, with a bold natural flavor profile, this is just the place for you. We came just 10 minutes before closing and are so glad we did, will definitely be returning…”
“A Must-Visit for Authentic Kauai Coffee and TreatsThis cafe is the best place to grab authentic Kauai coffee. The staff is wonderful and adds to the welcoming atmosphere. Don't miss out on their white chocolate macadamia nut cookie - it's absolutely delicious. A perfect spot for coffee lovers and anyone looking for a tasty treat.”
“We always stop in for delicious treats when we're in Hanapepe. Their selection of pastries is spectacular. The staff are always so down to earth and sweet. You won't be disappointed”
“Mmmmmm. Had a lovely Island Bliss latte with spy milk, tried my daughter's Eden Freeze (I'll be back midday for one of those), and my lady got a tasty latte. The quality, the milk selection, the lovely service, and all added up to the name of my drink pure Island Bliss. Definitely worth a stop for the magical bean drinks they offer.Vegetarian options: Good alternative milk choicesDietary restrictions: Several alternative milk options like soy and others”
“This was the best shave ice that we got on Kauai IMHO. Great service in a funky little colorful building. The Berry Berry was awesome. This shop is highly recommended.”
“We are from Paso Robles California and I work at Sculpterra winery .. I was pouring for 3 ladies and Barb had told me that her brother owned a wine shop in Koloa .. I said we have family n friends there we will go! So went and met Dan and his wife at their store and made reservations for dinner at the Tasting Room.. we ordered sparkling wine .. the small Charcuterie board ( yum) we ordered the smoked beet salad and French onion soup.. we didn’t even get the larger bites cause this was enough ( but we saw the rib eye steak n salmon being served and they looked awesome )and then we indulged in the toffee!!We met Megan and Dani who were gracious and fun !! We had a delightful time !! You need to go!!!”
“I didn’t actually have the poke but probably should have. Their mixed plate was kind of mid, but my friend’s poke looked amazing. It’s in a bit of a strange location, being in the middle of a golf course, but it was speedy — not worth $21 though I will say.”
“My favorite coffee spot! Must try the Iced Hawaiian Vanilla with oat milk, and don’t forget to add the coffee cubes :) Always great customer service when I go.”
