“Absolutely delicious!! We had the fish n chips and poke nachos, both of which we knew were good from yelp but did not find on menu. So very good. Ordered a virgin spicy Bloody Mary that was nothing more than tomato juice with a bit of worchestire in it. Would not recommend that drink but fish n chips all day everyday so good!!”
“Delicious, affordable, friendly, quick stop coffee shop! Lots of different varieties and variations of drinks. We stopped in here before our A.M. boat tour for a quick caffeine kick and was pleasantly surprised about how tasty our coffees were. When our boat tour finished 6 hours later, we ordered round two!!”
“A quaint Ramen restaurant, adjacent to a Chinese restaurant. We had the California roll and Gyoza. Best meal for about $19 for 2 people. Delicious food, freshly made sushi and Gyoza! Love this place!!”
“Employees there are nice n friendly there. Usually buy sandwiches when Subway has it discounted from notifications from emails or newspapers.Very convenient when I order it on-line because it saves time having to STANDING IN LINE or ordering in-store.”
“Perfectly good Chinese food and affordable. Nothing fancy but fresh vegetables, good sauces, tender meat and generous portions. A great spot to hit anytime coming or going.”
“Just reopened after major remodel. Very busy,be patient,or don't stop. Extremely popular with the locals and visitors . Do not give these employees a hard time, there doing there best. This isn't the mainland.!!!Parking: Busy lot”
“I've never once left a review while still sitting in a restaurant, but I will tonight. This place makes me sad that I cannot eat here again tomorrow. I could tell you what we ordered, but it doesn't matter. You literally cannot screw it up.”
“The chicken and fish tacos were unbelievably delicious, and my husband raved about his carnitas burrito - best spices ever. The people were very personable - a long wait but worth every second!”
“Best food and friendliest staff! I have been to Oahu a million times and this was my first time to Kauai and I realized it doesn't have as much iconic food as Oahu and most places in Kauai overcharge and under season especially in the tourist areas! Porkys was reasonably priced compared to everything in Kauai and was delicious! And had a clean, modern vibe. I got the #4 which is a pork rice bowl with pineapple and a side of pickled onions and cucumbers, it was soooo good! My little toddler loved it too! I will definitely be going back! The staff was all super friendly and the owner came over and chatted with us. We loved it!”
“We loved this place! Short 15 minute drive from Poipu and went for lunch. Very friendly staff and the restaurant is very quaint and clean. Rueben sandwich with onion rings was awesome. Wife had the grilled cheese with bacon and garlic fries. Plantation iced tea was great. Had a chocolate chip cookie and carrot cake for dessert. Their breakfast food looked amazing too. Super fresh ingredients, good portions and an overall relaxing and delicious experience. Would go back for sure. Highly recommend!”
“Stopped at food truck on my way up to the canyon. Great food! I got the Pork Belly came with rice and macaroni salad. Pork belly was perfectly seasoned then cooked on a flat top grill. Great flavors and only 12 bucks! Must try.”
“Absolutely loved the coffee here! Espresso is nicely roasted and shines through whatever beverage you get! The service is fantastic and very friendly! The sleeper beverage here is definitely the chai, a must try in my opinion. If you’re in the area stop by Eden Coffee!!!”
“If the fact that we came here 3 times for shaved ice in one week doesn't say how much we enjoyed it then I don't know what would! The best shaved ice I have ever had in Hawaii! Served with a smile and some local suggestions, a generous portion with naturally made fruit flavored syrups (you can totally tell) and a huge scoop of ice cream topped with some macadamia nuts and I am now adding them as a rotation into my diet. A small food cart, conveniently located across from a beautiful snorkel spot and some vacation rentals, there is limited street parks that we didn't have trouble finding but can see it being busy in the summer. Will be my first stop when I'm back in Kauai!”
“One of the best Açaí bowls I ever had!!! Especially the funky monkey was amazing. Love it! It’s in that supermarket. We first couldn’t find it. So check it out.”
“Kickshaws was one of the highlights of our intimate wedding! Their catering menu is huge, so it was hard to pick dishes because everything looked so mouthwatering and creative. In the end, it was all delicious and everyone raved about the food. Paulette and Seth were easy to coordinate with and they were accommodating of all of our special requests. Definitely stop by their food truck or hire them for your next event!”
“Wow, amazing little spot for a vegan meal! We loved that they’re 100% vegan. Both the tacos and Thai salad were so fresh and delicious. We highly recommend this place for a healthy meal!”
“Such good food! Both of us got the poké bowl and it was exactly what we needed. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked so good. I recommend stopping here if you’re in the area!”
“First off! Follow the signs they put up and let one family/group in at a time cause it’s posted clearly everywhere.Second, everyone that served us was so so nice and their gelato is SOO good. We went a few times while we were on the island and will be going back when we return someday.Go go go!”
“Great coffee and friendly staff. Would highly recommend the little walk around self guided tour while you have a cup of fresh coffee. It was more informative and interesting than anticipated and quite fun.”
“We always stop in for delicious treats when we're in Hanapepe. Their selection of pastries is spectacular. The staff are always so down to earth and sweet. You won't be disappointed”
“5 stars for the ono grinds! We arrived around 9:30A on a Thursday morning. We got lucky and snagged a couple of tables outside. Ginas is basically takeout with a few tables for dining outside. We ordered a burrito and a mini loco moco with onions and mushrooms. The burrito was filled with Spanish rice, Portuguese sausage, bacon, ham, eggs and cheese. Very tasty combo! The Loco Moco was the BOMB! The best we've had so far! We shared a slice of banana bread for dessert. So moist and full of banana flavor. I had the opportunity to meet Gina and told her how much we enjoyed breakfast. Especially the Loco Moco. We hope to make a return trip before we leave.”
“I was fighting a cough, so I went in and bought the Life Saver elixir (turmeric, horseradish, ginger, garlic, fermented chilis, apple cider vinegar). It healed me in 3-4 days! It was very potent and was like drinking hot sauce. Diluting it with water was helpful. I recommend this place!”
“If you're reading this review in February then LUCKY YOU! Stop what you're doing and go to Kind Coffee right now! They have a Holiday Valentine's Special drink, the Cupid's Latte. I am not exaggerating when I say I wait all year for this, and this is one of the best lattes I have ever had. It is a latte with homemade rose + raspberry syrup topped with a white chocolate cold foam (I get mine iced with soy milk + coffee cubes). In addition to this delicacy, you will be greeted with an always friendly, helpful and cheerful staff. Even outside of the holiday special, these guys bring the goods! They have a wonderful lavender matcha and local vanilla syrup, great coffee and flavored lattes of any kind (try the salted caramel macnut when in stock), pretty much anything you get from here is guaranteed to bring you joy. Also these are one of the few coffee places that offers soy milk around here (thank you!) What are you waiting for?! Get yours now!!Dietary restrictions: Options for anyone with any restriction!Parking: Depending on the time of day, you will find many spots or a few.”
“Came here during lunch and had their lunch special. It tasted really good. The Naan was a little oily and probably cooked on a pan. Not a fan of it but the curry and rice was good. Owner was friendly and service was very fast.”
“Mmmmmm. Had a lovely Island Bliss latte with spy milk, tried my daughter's Eden Freeze (I'll be back midday for one of those), and my lady got a tasty latte. The quality, the milk selection, the lovely service, and all added up to the name of my drink pure Island Bliss. Definitely worth a stop for the magical bean drinks they offer.Vegetarian options: Good alternative milk choicesDietary restrictions: Several alternative milk options like soy and others”
“We are from Paso Robles California and I work at Sculpterra winery .. I was pouring for 3 ladies and Barb had told me that her brother owned a wine shop in Koloa .. I said we have family n friends there we will go! So went and met Dan and his wife at their store and made reservations for dinner at the Tasting Room.. we ordered sparkling wine .. the small Charcuterie board ( yum) we ordered the smoked beet salad and French onion soup.. we didn’t even get the larger bites cause this was enough ( but we saw the rib eye steak n salmon being served and they looked awesome )and then we indulged in the toffee!!We met Megan and Dani who were gracious and fun !! We had a delightful time !! You need to go!!!”
“Wow! If you are looking for a shave ice that isn’t sickly-sweet, with a bold natural flavor profile, this is just the place for you. We came just 10 minutes before closing and are so glad we did, will definitely be returning…”
“Lovely to find a shop roasting beans. Would really have liked to see a light roast in the mix. Really unusual variety combinations. Tried the drip coffee and it was pretty good.”
“These pies are to die for! We tried a slice of blueberry/pinna collard and a mango/lilikoi one and they were both equally fantastic! I think we destroyed both in like 90 seconds or less.”
“Good food and beer. My husband and I both really enjoyed the crispy chicken sandwiches, the sandwich is huge and really crispy. The hand-cut fries are also delicious. I had the tangerine wheat beer which was great too.”
