“They have a wide variety and are quite affordable compared to other options on the island. However, affordability comes with a different kind of cost. No substitutions, basic broths, and i wasn't really a fan of the noodles, but that's a personal preference. My party said the fried rice was very good. If you're hungry and want real food on a budget, then I'd stop by here for sure.”

The Food:
Veggie Friendly: I was happy to find that they actually had veggie options in stock (which isn't always the case everywhere).
Quality: The staff took the time to heat the veggie patty perfectly—it wasn't cold in the middle or overdone. They also packed everything neatly for us to take on the go.
The Service:
The staff was fantastic. Even though it's a busy area, they didn't rush us through our order and were very patient and friendly.
Parking & Location:
Parking directly in front can be a little difficult to find during peak times, but there are usually plenty of spots available if you look around the surrounding shops in the plaza.
Overall: A clean, friendly, and well-stocked Subway. Perfect if you need a quick, fresh meal before heading to Waimea Canyon or the beaches!”

“It’s a cute little town with a handful of galleries and other shops. Not to be missed is Popo’s cookies and Banana Patch ( if it’s still around with kauai made pottery)”

“Both times we had JoJo’s shaved ice while visiting Kauai the shaved ice was great! However I do have to say, the employees working the Kapa’a location was much more welcoming and friendlier than the Hanalei location.”

Unfortunately there is only a couple tables outside and you have to go next door for a drink but this place is totally worth it. “I got the crusted Ono from hokus food truck at the Hanapepe art walk. The fish was good, but the Mac salad was THE BEST MAC SALAD I'VE EVER HAD. I don't know what he put in it, but it was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend getting the Mac salad with whatever other order you get.”

“Our tour stopped in Hanapepe and we came across Midnight Bear Breads. Such a cute little town and bakery. My aunt and I picked up some delicious fresh pastry and breads. We really enjoyed them for breakfast while we stayed on the island. Thank you for the amazing memories. We are back home in Oklahoma and dream of your goodies!”

“After a long morning at Waimea State Park, I picked Da Booze Shop because the name made me laugh. Well the jokes on me because the food, service, and atmosphere were stellar! I have always loved eating in Mom and Pop places because they always have the best food. I got the Mahi Katsu and had enough leftover for a snack. If you are traveling with kids this is a great place to eat. You can eat across the street at the park and let the kids play and expend some energy.”
