“This food truck is the best place for poké on Kauai! Charming relaxed atmosphere, DELICIOUS food at affordable prices, all next to an open building with great shops. Corn hole game for the kiddos set up near the covered seating area. All 8 in our group agreed that this was the place to eat! Visited 2-3 times during our stay. Highly recommend!”

“Food at La Spezia is outstanding! This was the first time dining at La Spezia (party of three), and we couldn't have been more pleased. Service was prompt, friendly, and attentive. The food was the most delicious any of of us has ever had. I ordered the gnocchi, my friend ordered the short rib ravioli (and couldn't stop raving about it!), and my husband devoured the wagyu hanger steak (he said it was amazing!). The wine we drank was terrific as well (a red zinfandel)! Even though all of us were full, we ordered dessert the salted caramel panna cotta, which was outstanding! All in all a meal we will never forget! We highly recommend La Spezia for a very enjoyable night, to anyone looking for a great restaurant in Koloa.”

His recommendations were excellent, and he anticipated our needs without ever being intrusive. Rob's genuine hospitality and friendly personality made us feel truly welcome from start to finish. Combined with the breathtaking ambiance and Rob's impeccable service, it was one of the best dining experiences we've had on Kauai. The local breakfast sandwich, croissantwich and Breakfast Burrito and so delicious, but my favorite by far is the Lomi Salmon Bagel....I crave it!!!!! Highly recommend!”

I wish I had tried a few more of their tap beers via tasters, but I just ordered one - Pono Pale Ale, which was incredibly solid. I'm from San Diego, so very picky about my beer.
We both had the Mucho smash burger and fries - great job on that as well.
Love the indoor/outdoor seating and the vibe. Fun place and will for sure return next time we're on the island.”

“We were in town from KC during the superbowl and wanted some bbq for the game. We are a bit picky and spoiled with bbq but D's hit the spot! We had ribs, pulled pork, burnt ends, and brisket. Good portion sizes and great taste! All of the meat was the perfect level of tender without falling apart and had great flavor. The medium sauce was sooo good! A slow heat with a lot of flavor! Thank you D's for great food and friendly service! Don't hesitate and go get some delicious bbq in your life!”

“I regularly bring my kids to this shop for treats. The location is great, and the prices are comparable to any shops around the area, even across the island. But more than anything, my support comes from how present they are in the local community.

They consistently support our local Title I school and recently even welcomed an entire group of first graders into the shop. That kind of commitment, not just catering to tourists, but truly investing in the community doesn’t often happen. My son really enjoyed the stop with his classmates, thank you.”

“This place was highly recommended by my patient that was part of a Facebook Group that posted about this place a lot and they were featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. It was good and the service was fantastic, but not so good that we made a second stop on our trip. Their service was quick too, so it's a good stop if you only have a short time to eat! Their menu includes: Truffle Burger, Veggie Burger, Chicken Katsu Sandwich, Kenji Burger (teriyaki, ponzu aioli, caramelized onions, cheddar cheese, tomato & arugula), Misoyaki Fish Sandwich, Salads, Sushi Burritos & Bowls (loco moco, chicken katsu, misoyaki fish, and poke). There are 2 locations on the island”

“We are HGV owners and are enjoying our time at the point. We can’t say enough about Mike and Marla the Magnificent and Zada! So helpful, so personable, food is great, so accommodating! Feel like I’ve known them forever! Unfortunately, we did not have the same experience with the December 4th morning bartender Keoki. He seemed bothered to have to assist us in any capacity. Short and disrespectful in his responses as well. Glad that we woke up to Marla on Friday to start our day!

“We ordered from here twice during our stay at the grand Hyatt! Both times we ordered from our lounge chairs, they have staff going around to take orders and they bring the food right to you! We really enjoyed the fish tacos, we got them twice. The tacos are big and the fish is perfect. The prices at this place are pretty fair considering it’s a resort, and I feel the portions are good for the price as well.”

“My wife, daughter and I were late looking for food one night and decided to try Isola Cucina. It's an interesting layout - tables in 3 different spots if you include the attached pizza joint.

It was getting later towards closing but that didn't seem to bother them, they seated us and gave attentive service. Food was really good and hit the spot for sure!”

“Easy check in process. We got there at 5 to park and get in line. We were able to get nice seats toward the front. Buffet line ran very quick and smooth and food was pretty good for a buffet. Pork was delicious! The event was perfectly timed to
End at 8p. It was nice that the show was spaced out throughout the meal. What a lovely chance to see beautiful dances and impressive fire tossing.”

“Came here yesterday for lunch with my husband and ordered the Bahia Shrimp plate and the Aloha Shrimp plate. Phenomenal! We had to come back again for lunch today.

And then, how can you pass up JoJo's Shave Ice for dessert right next door?!”

“The Prime Rib was enjoyed by my son-in-law, and I LOVED the Stung Honey Fried Chicken. The coconut shrimp were the perfect accompianment to the King Tiki Mai Thai. My wife loved the Asian Salad, but my DIL thought the Macademia Crusted Mahi Mahi was a bit dry. Service was SPECTACULAR, and the kids menu was extensive - our 3.5 yo grandson loved the grilled cheese sandwich with waffle fries, our 19 month old grandaughter loved the pasta with marinara, and there was also pasta with butter sauce, cheese burger sliders with waffle fries, and chicken tenders with waffle fries. The view of the pool and ocean from under the lanai was also terrific!”

“Food is still good however the service now sucks. if your eating and want something else or another drink. whoever is serving you will not get it you are told that you must go back up to the cashier and order it there. what kind of crap is that. when told that I replied that "Then no need to tip you right" ? got a dirty look for that one, I'm just saying what's the purpose of having a waiter/waitress that won't get anything may as well go to the Crack. glad the one in Kalaheo isn't like poipu !!”
