We are so grateful for all the hard work leading up to our event and for your careful attention to detail and responsiveness to our requests. The food was a wonderful combination of flavors and delicious in every way! Our family and wedding party loved and raved about it all! A few of the many items people keep raving about was the amazing Macaroni Salad and your special BBQ sauces. We all agreed they were the best we ever had! “This food truck is the best place for poké on Kauai! Charming relaxed atmosphere, DELICIOUS food at affordable prices, all next to an open building with great shops. Corn hole game for the kiddos set up near the covered seating area. All 8 in our group agreed that this was the place to eat! Visited 2-3 times during our stay. Highly recommend!”

“Food at La Spezia is outstanding! This was the first time dining at La Spezia (party of three), and we couldn't have been more pleased. Service was prompt, friendly, and attentive. The food was the most delicious any of of us has ever had. I ordered the gnocchi, my friend ordered the short rib ravioli (and couldn't stop raving about it!), and my husband devoured the wagyu hanger steak (he said it was amazing!). The wine we drank was terrific as well (a red zinfandel)! Even though all of us were full, we ordered dessert the salted caramel panna cotta, which was outstanding! All in all a meal we will never forget! We highly recommend La Spezia for a very enjoyable night, to anyone looking for a great restaurant in Koloa.”

“Tidepools is a must visit if you're staying at the Grand Hyatt. The seafood options were phenomenal, the cocktails and wine selection were excellent, and the malasadas should not be skipped if you have any room for dessert. This was probably the best meal we had during our week exploring Kauai.

Kylen was so great and offered incredible recommendations for every section of the menu, definitely ask for him if you visit!”

“We were in town from KC during the superbowl and wanted some bbq for the game. We are a bit picky and spoiled with bbq but D's hit the spot! We had ribs, pulled pork, burnt ends, and brisket. Good portion sizes and great taste! All of the meat was the perfect level of tender without falling apart and had great flavor. The medium sauce was sooo good! A slow heat with a lot of flavor! Thank you D's for great food and friendly service! Don't hesitate and go get some delicious bbq in your life!”

“I ordered the Genovese. They ran out of croissants, so I got it on a roll. Maybe I was just super hungry, but I think it’s one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had in my life. The roll was perfectly baked, chicken perfectly shredded and tender, pesto was delicious.
There was a little bit of a wait because it seemed there was only one person making sandwiches for the lunch rush, but it was worth it.”

“We are HGV owners and are enjoying our time at the point. We can’t say enough about Mike and Marla the Magnificent and Zada! So helpful, so personable, food is great, so accommodating! Feel like I’ve known them forever! Unfortunately, we did not have the same experience with the December 4th morning bartender Keoki. He seemed bothered to have to assist us in any capacity. Short and disrespectful in his responses as well. Glad that we woke up to Marla on Friday to start our day!

“Had an awesome lunch here after time at the beach. The dip trio was a great starter for hungry kids (and adults) and my husband enjoyed the Pineapple Express IPA. The tacos were rockin’- fried fish tacos and the taco trio (pork was our favorite but barbacoa was excellent as well). Loved the location and atmosphere!”

We also had the chicken pad Thai and it was good. Nice chunks of chicken and the noodles were cooked perfectly.

“This place was highly recommended by my patient that was part of a Facebook Group that posted about this place a lot and they were featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. It was good and the service was fantastic, but not so good that we made a second stop on our trip. Their service was quick too, so it's a good stop if you only have a short time to eat! Their menu includes: Truffle Burger, Veggie Burger, Chicken Katsu Sandwich, Kenji Burger (teriyaki, ponzu aioli, caramelized onions, cheddar cheese, tomato & arugula), Misoyaki Fish Sandwich, Salads, Sushi Burritos & Bowls (loco moco, chicken katsu, misoyaki fish, and poke). There are 2 locations on the island”

“We went for Mother's Day Brunch.....while it was a little expensive, it was well worth the experience. Amazing view, tremendous variety of great food and was a great day! While our reservation was for 11:30, we got there about 11:25 and didn't get seated until around 11:50......it was well worth the wait!! Wonderful experience!!”

“The food from here exceeded our expectations quite a bit, it is delicious. The place has a poolside snack bar vibe but the food and drinks are top notch. They have many servers who come by regularly to place orders. Or you can walk up and place an order. The prices are average for a casual poolside dining experience on the island but well worth it. The first time we ate from here my wife got a Chinese Chicken Salad and I got the Shrimp Shipwreck Salad. Both were huge servings and very tasty. I think my shrimp salad had a skewer of about 7-8 shrimp that were so flavorful. The dressings for both salads were extremely tasty. We also had cocktails, I had the Lilikoi Margarita and my wife the Froze Guava, both spectacular. The second day we ate there I had the fish tacos which were out of this world delicious, fresh and very tasty. If you are a fish taco fanatic like I am ordering these are a must. You won’t be disappointed. I believe it is the only restaurant in the resort with poolside service but that is not an issue because the menu has great options, the service is spectacular and the food is definitely sit down, nice restaurant quality. We highly recommend it for food and drinks.”

“From Japan here. Where do I start. BAJA CHALUPAS 3! Sundays and Mondays at Lawai Beach Resort! It was great home style food! The portion size was huge!! The hot sauce was HOTTT but I like my hot sauce spicy hot so I enjoyed it. Do dare if you choose. Had a great conversation with Kryshtian! He was really cool. The shrimp quesadilla was great. The steak tacos were awesome. The chicken burrito was fire. Great prices too! If you are staying at Lawai beach resort, need to try it! Thank you Kryshtian once again. Much love!”

“The seaview terrace at the Hyatt has a fabulous atmosphere both in the daytime and at night. Our dinner and dessert were delicious. There was live music and a hula lesson for kids. Great times!”

“Visiting the island and felt the need for a pizza...place had mixed reviews but after having our pizza it was easy to see how unfair some of the lower star reviews were. Our pizza was absolutely amazing, the gal who served us was friendly and polite. A nice dinner experience. If you like pizza...this is the place to go!”

“A friend recommded this restaurant a few years ago and we have been coming here several years now. So far, we only order garlic shrimps and coconut shrimps. Both dishes are delicious. There are a few tables for sitting down, but we see a lot of to go orders.”

“The Prime Rib was enjoyed by my son-in-law, and I LOVED the Stung Honey Fried Chicken. The coconut shrimp were the perfect accompianment to the King Tiki Mai Thai. My wife loved the Asian Salad, but my DIL thought the Macademia Crusted Mahi Mahi was a bit dry. Service was SPECTACULAR, and the kids menu was extensive - our 3.5 yo grandson loved the grilled cheese sandwich with waffle fries, our 19 month old grandaughter loved the pasta with marinara, and there was also pasta with butter sauce, cheese burger sliders with waffle fries, and chicken tenders with waffle fries. The view of the pool and ocean from under the lanai was also terrific!”

“Food is still good however the service now sucks. if your eating and want something else or another drink. whoever is serving you will not get it you are told that you must go back up to the cashier and order it there. what kind of crap is that. when told that I replied that "Then no need to tip you right" ? got a dirty look for that one, I'm just saying what's the purpose of having a waiter/waitress that won't get anything may as well go to the Crack. glad the one in Kalaheo isn't like poipu !!”
