We are so grateful for all the hard work leading up to our event and for your careful attention to detail and responsiveness to our requests. The food was a wonderful combination of flavors and delicious in every way! Our family and wedding party loved and raved about it all! A few of the many items people keep raving about was the amazing Macaroni Salad and your special BBQ sauces. We all agreed they were the best we ever had! “This food truck is the best place for poké on Kauai! Charming relaxed atmosphere, DELICIOUS food at affordable prices, all next to an open building with great shops. Corn hole game for the kiddos set up near the covered seating area. All 8 in our group agreed that this was the place to eat! Visited 2-3 times during our stay. Highly recommend!”

“I told my wife we were going to a food truck that I had read about for lunch. She was a little skeptical, but said sure, let’s go. So glad we did. The food was so delicious! And the portion size was so generous. When you are on the south shore of Kauai, please don’t miss this gem.”

“Food at La Spezia is outstanding! This was the first time dining at La Spezia (party of three), and we couldn't have been more pleased. Service was prompt, friendly, and attentive. The food was the most delicious any of of us has ever had. I ordered the gnocchi, my friend ordered the short rib ravioli (and couldn't stop raving about it!), and my husband devoured the wagyu hanger steak (he said it was amazing!). The wine we drank was terrific as well (a red zinfandel)! Even though all of us were full, we ordered dessert the salted caramel panna cotta, which was outstanding! All in all a meal we will never forget! We highly recommend La Spezia for a very enjoyable night, to anyone looking for a great restaurant in Koloa.”

“Tide Pools has a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The surf and turf was absolutely delicious; best on the island with amazing flavor. My only issue was the seating; we ended up in a less appealing spot despite the place not being busy. The portions are a bit small for the price, but the great taste made up for it. Overall, a fantastic meal with a minor seating quirk.”

“Online it says they are open, drove all the way over and they were closed. Just in case anyone else is in the same boat they are actually open from 12-4 daily and closed every Friday. So the hours posted online are not accurate. At least they aren’t at the moment end of September 2026. Everything is delicious:)”

“Love this place. I've been to a few locations and it's always good! The coffee is amazing, but the real shocker is how great the food is! The local breakfast sandwich, croissantwich and Breakfast Burrito and so delicious, but my favorite by far is the Lomi Salmon Bagel....I crave it!!!!! Highly recommend!”

“We were in town from KC during the superbowl and wanted some bbq for the game. We are a bit picky and spoiled with bbq but D's hit the spot! We had ribs, pulled pork, burnt ends, and brisket. Good portion sizes and great taste! All of the meat was the perfect level of tender without falling apart and had great flavor. The medium sauce was sooo good! A slow heat with a lot of flavor! Thank you D's for great food and friendly service! Don't hesitate and go get some delicious bbq in your life!”

It was good and the service was fantastic, but not so good that we made a second stop on our trip. Their service was quick too, so it's a good stop if you only have a short time to eat! Their menu includes: Truffle Burger, Veggie Burger, Chicken Katsu Sandwich, Kenji Burger (teriyaki, ponzu aioli, caramelized onions, cheddar cheese, tomato & arugula), Misoyaki Fish Sandwich, Salads, Sushi Burritos & Bowls (loco moco, chicken katsu, misoyaki fish, and poke). There are 2 locations on the island”

“Great service. Convenient when at the pool. Able to charge to your room so you don’t have to worry about carrying a card or cash. They also accept Apple Pay. Drinks were good. Strong enough and tasty.”

“Hands down the best Thai food on Kauai! It’s a food truck, but the kitchen is spotlessly clean and there’s a lovely, shaded seating area. Right in the heart of Koloa Town! We tried the Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Dragon Noodles, Larb Salad, and Thai Iced Tea—everything was absolutely delicious. Exceptional service and super friendly staff, too!”

“We ordered from here twice during our stay at the grand Hyatt! Both times we ordered from our lounge chairs, they have staff going around to take orders and they bring the food right to you! We really enjoyed the fish tacos, we got them twice. The tacos are big and the fish is perfect. The prices at this place are pretty fair considering it’s a resort, and I feel the portions are good for the price as well.”

“I recently went here with my family. Our waitress was fantastic! We got 2 pizzas and an order of garlic knots. The pizzas seemed fairly priced since we were in Hawaii but the garlic knots were a rip off. We got 6 small knots for $10. Next time we would skip the knots.”

“Burgers were delicious! Very fresh. I had the Kaua'i burger (a slice of pineapple added), with cheese, and savored every bite. My wife and daughter both had fish and chips, and said it was fantastic! The grandkids said their plain cheese burgers were great, and ate every bite.”

“Hidden gem in a small outdoor mall. We had the garlic shrimp tacos and the Aloha shrimp plate. Tacos were hard to eat as the tortillas fell apart but that wasn't the end all to the dish. Great flavors and perfectly cooked shrimp! Pricing was decent for the amount of food. Stop by.... You won't be disappointed!”

“Food is still good however the service now sucks. if your eating and want something else or another drink. whoever is serving you will not get it you are told that you must go back up to the cashier and order it there. what kind of crap is that. when told that I replied that "Then no need to tip you right" ? got a dirty look for that one, I'm just saying what's the purpose of having a waiter/waitress that won't get anything may as well go to the Crack. glad the one in Kalaheo isn't like poipu !!”
