Since Keoki's Paradise is owned by Duke’s they need to follow Duke’s standard for quality. The service was awesome but the food was not. The calamari was over cooked both times we ate there and the French onion soup was horrible. I’ve had the “Maui” French onion soup at other restaurants and it was fabulous but this was cold and looked like it came from another table. The swordfish and mahi mahi both were prepared well with their own sauces. The mahi was grilled or seared but not dried out, which even higher end places don't always do properly.

We have been going to Keoki's ever since we first discovered it the first time we visited Kauai in 1999.While the menu has changed, the quality of the food and service has always been top notch.The one thing you should try though that has been constant each time we have visited Keoki's on our many return visits to the island is the Hula Pie. It is a taste of paradise.
