“Love this place. I've been to a few locations and it's always good! The coffee is amazing, but the real shocker is how great the food is! The local breakfast sandwich, croissantwich and Breakfast Burrito and so delicious, but my favorite by far is the Lomi Salmon Bagel....I crave it!!!!! Highly recommend!“

“Restaurant in Hyatt Resort. Beautiful setup. Recommend getting outdoor seating if available. The views are breathtaking. The breeze is refreshing. Menu has short selections..the appetizer is shockingly small..like 4 bites for $25..try splitting that to a party of six..lmao. The portion size might be normal for this type of dining. Not recommended for teens. Mines opted for something familiar (burgers), which defeats the purpose of dining here. Overall good dining, would come back..but definitely leaving the kids at home.“

“Wow the bagels were amazing! My husband and I both got the brekkie special sandwich and it was delicious. We also got an iced coffee and smoothie. The coffee is excellent here. We arrived around 9am and there was 2 people in front of us, food came out pretty quick. Will definitely be coming back again.“

“Cute coffee shot in Lihue on Kauai in Hawaii just near the beach. On a bus route and within walking distance to the beach with plenty of parking for those with vehicles.
Very small venue inside (with air conditioning but no seating inside. There are plenty of outside picnic tables just outside in the front of the shop (unfortunately not with ocean views). Coffee stand with sugar and sugar substitutes aplenty with naples and cutlery. For those who want cream/milk simply ask for it at the counter and it is available upon request for you to pour.
The coffee was bold tasting and flavorful. Reasonably priced for a 16oz large at $3.50 (no refills).
There is no wifi available for use (which for me reduced it from 5 to 4 stars on atmosphere as I believe coffee shops should have wifi available for paying guests. Still a great spot and venue for a fresh cup of coffee and plenty of food choices as well.

From the moment you walk in, you’re met with warmth, hospitality, and a genuine sense of community. The atmosphere is inviting and thoughtfully curated–perfect whether you’re stopping in for coffee or gathering with friends. The owners and staff go above and beyond to make people feel welcomed, seen, and cared for.
The coffee and food are consistently excellent & crafted with intention and quality. You can tell everything is done with heart. What sets Blue Bird Café apart is they don’t just run a business; they steward a space that brings people together.
Grateful for places like this that serve both great coffee and the community. Highly recommend Blue Bird Café, you’ll leave better than you came.

“Our family very recently vacationed in Kauai to celebrate my parents 50th anniversary. I had reached out to Ko Bakery several weeks before our trip to have a cake made to surprise my parents. We chose the Haupia with Lime buttercream and also got a dozen cupcakes (yellow cake with chocolate buttercream) for the kiddos. The cake and cupcakes were AMAZING!!!! Their customer service is incredible (especially since we were communicating through email) and pick up was a breeze. I highly recommend Ko Bakery!!!“

“The best coffee spot on the island! All made to order- we got pour overs brewed from freshly roasted beans. The baked goods were heavenly, Kouign Amann (croissant meets macadamia nut and honey) is a MUST!! Next fav choice personally was the cinnamon scone. Opens relatively early for your early adventures when most “breakfast” options are closed“

“Delicious acai bowls! This was our first stop after arriving in Kauai. We ordered the Kauaiian bowl, Kailea bowl, and the Green Giant. The fruit was deliciously fresh, especially the mango in the Kailea bowl! However, I was very disappointed with the Green Giant. The first ingredient listed was matcha, so I assumed this was a matcha latte with some sort of sweetener. Apparently dalgona is coffee, so the drink was half matcha half coffee. I don't drink coffee, so I ended up tossing half my drink. They have some chairs and picnic bench seating for you to enjoy your food or drink, including a covered area.“

“When you first look at the cafe it’s really cute and cozy, then when you go in the interior is also adorable. The owner was so sweet and friendly and was open to adding some more sugar into my coffee. The chocolate croissant is a must try for anyone planning to visit! Very nice place came here two times in a 4 days!“
“The barista that took my order and made my drink was so kind and so quick. I think her name was Shanelle. She took the time to get to know me and ask what kind of drink I was craving because I didn’t know what I wanted. She asked how my day was and she made me feel so special. I would definitely come back.“

“I don’t care what anyone says. This is my all time favorite little store to go to for treats and drinks. Their boba is AMAZING!! If anyone says other wise are the stupidest people ever. This place is so underrated!!! It’s deserves more customers!!! And the price you pay for is amazingly good in my price of what I want!!
