“Best shaved ice on Kauai (we’ve tried a number)! Glad we found the new location, which is great. Quick drive from Poipu, much more outdoor seating and parking. There’s a couple other food trucks, some cute craft shops, and a bar backing right up to the forest.“
“If the fact that we came here 3 times for shaved ice in one week doesn't say how much we enjoyed it then I don't know what would! The best shaved ice I have ever had in Hawaii! Served with a smile and some local suggestions, a generous portion with naturally made fruit flavored syrups (you can totally tell) and a huge scoop of ice cream topped with some macadamia nuts and I am now adding them as a rotation into my diet. A small food cart, conveniently located across from a beautiful snorkel spot and some vacation rentals, there is limited street parks that we didn't have trouble finding but can see it being busy in the summer. Will be my first stop when I'm back in Kauai!“

I've been to other where you can literally juice something with no taste and all health if you know what I mean. The staff and people here and Kauai Juice definitely know what they are doing and doing it right. Service was very helpful and friendly. Did take 20-30 mins to get our food but we didn’t mind. Workers were exceptionally friendly. Two of us ate here for $50 before tip. I don’t think they serve alcohol.“
“Really good shave ice. The strawberry syrup is more like a nectar, giving a bold flavor. Other fruits are prepared as needed, again allowing for maximum flavor. Portions are very generous and easily shared by two people. Good enough that we went twice while on the island. This is not a snow cone!!! It’s shave ice!Tables could’ve used a wipe down, but they’re outside communal tables shared with a couple other nearby shops, so hard to say whose responsibility that is. “Delicious coffee and tea. Their building is a really cool historic building in keeping with the "old town" area. It has the most amazingly beautiful tree out front that canopies the entrance and part of their parking area. Relaxing vibe!“

Their poke does have romaine lettuce in it which I know some people aren't a fan of, so if you don't like it, just order it without it.Location:Nice clean little eating area. Decent parking right next to it, but plenty of parking nearby. Old Koloa Town has plenty of cool shops, so we frequently grab food at Big Monster, then grab ice cream nearby and walk around exploring.Highly recommend.Dietary restrictions: Couple of vegetarian options, but if you're vegan, why are you going to a sushi truck in the first place?Parking: Some spots right next to it, with plenty more a short walk down the block.“

“I've been looking forward to trying Puka Dog for months! Now having tried it, I'm definitely satisfied! I had the spicy garlic sauce, mango relish and Hawaiian mustard. The combo was delicious! Because the bun's hole doesn't go all the way through, the sauce pools up at the bottom and my sausage was finished with quite a bit of bread left. The final few bites were way too saucy and wet for me to finish, which was my only complaint. I wish there wasn't so much sauce at the bottom. But the roosters surrounding my picnic table were happy to finish the bread for me.The lineup was quite short; only about 5 minutes. The food came out right away too!“
“I feel like this place is underrated. Food is great and super fresh. Have a lot of variety to fit everyone's wants/needs. My wife ordered the veggie sandwich. Bread was delicious, veggies fresh, and flavor was delicious. I ordered an açaí bowl. Loved the fresh PB scoops on top with fresh fruit. Staff were friendly and service was prompt. Nice little seating area outside or you can head down to the beach.“

“Best shave ice on the island. We went back 4-5x the week we were in Poipu. We tried a few other places and this was so much better. This is the closest thing we’ve had to Matsumoto’s on Oahu which is equally as good. Get the Island Nectar or POG with macadamia nut ice cream on the bottom, SO GOOD. Jason was our server and he was AWEOME! Super nice guy and went above and beyond. Good shave ice and great service.“
“Very nice experience. There are ancient Hawaiian ruins on the left side of the entrance. The location has nice spacious green views which makes it peaceful. Place is clean friendly staff and the food… I had the Green Chile Burrito- $12.45 Thursday Special. It was delicious!“
