“I told my wife we were going to a food truck that I had read about for lunch. She was a little skeptical, but said sure, let’s go. So glad we did. The food was so delicious! And the portion size was so generous. When you are on the south shore of Kauai, please don’t miss this gem.“

“I tried the Handlebar and loved the natural flavors here and they make sure to add flavor as they build! I would ask for extra coconut flakes on top and wish they poked some holes in the ice to ensure the flavor gets to the center so it's not a snowball in the middle.“

“I regularly bring my kids to this shop for treats. The location is great, and the prices are comparable to any shops around the area, even across the island. But more than anything, my support comes from how present they are in the local community.

They consistently support our local Title I school and recently even welcomed an entire group of first graders into the shop. That kind of commitment, not just catering to tourists, but truly investing in the community doesn’t often happen. My son really enjoyed the stop with his classmates, thank you.“

“This place is so much fun for adults and kids. The slide, pool, and activity area is so much fun and they welcome you with open arms. The food and drinks are amazing but…our service was why we kept coming back. Justyna has the best vibe and is so attentive. We recommend this place to everyone that comes to the Poipou area. ?“

“I love this place. We ordered ahead of time and I highly suggest doing this. The line was long but that’s expected. Reasonably priced. The staff seemed irritable but that’s expected with the level of tourist asking the same questions all day. They have hats and shirts for sale as well.

There were so many people in line for this. Definitely worth the small wait.“

“From Japan here. Where do I start. BAJA CHALUPAS 3! Sundays and Mondays at Lawai Beach Resort! It was great home style food! The portion size was huge!! The hot sauce was HOTTT but I like my hot sauce spicy hot so I enjoyed it. Do dare if you choose. Had a great conversation with Kryshtian! He was really cool. The shrimp quesadilla was great. “My wife, daughter and I were late looking for food one night and decided to try Isola Cucina. It's an interesting layout - tables in 3 different spots if you include the attached pizza joint.

It was getting later towards closing but that didn't seem to bother them, they seated us and gave attentive service. Food was really good and hit the spot for sure!“

“Came here yesterday for lunch with my husband and ordered the Bahia Shrimp plate and the Aloha Shrimp plate. Phenomenal! We had to come back again for lunch today.

And then, how can you pass up JoJo's Shave Ice for dessert right next door?!“

“Food is still good however the service now sucks. if your eating and want something else or another drink. whoever is serving you will not get it you are told that you must go back up to the cashier and order it there. what kind of crap is that. when told that I replied that "Then no need to tip you right" ? got a dirty look for that one, I'm just saying what's the purpose of having a waiter/waitress that won't get anything may as well go to the Crack. glad the one in Kalaheo isn't like poipu !!“
