“Tidepools is a must visit if you're staying at the Grand Hyatt. The seafood options were phenomenal, the cocktails and wine selection were excellent, and the malasadas should not be skipped if you have any room for dessert. This was probably the best meal we had during our week exploring Kauai.

“Food at La Spezia is outstanding! This was the first time dining at La Spezia (party of three), and we couldn't have been more pleased. Service was prompt, friendly, and attentive. The food was the most delicious any of of us has ever had. I ordered the gnocchi, my friend ordered the short rib ravioli (and couldn't stop raving about it!), and my husband devoured the wagyu hanger steak (he said it was amazing!). The wine we drank was terrific as well (a red zinfandel)! Even though all of us were full, we ordered dessert the salted caramel panna cotta, which was outstanding! All in all a meal we will never forget! We highly recommend La Spezia for a very enjoyable night, to anyone looking for a great restaurant in Koloa.“

“This food truck is the best place for poké on Kauai! Charming relaxed atmosphere, DELICIOUS food at affordable prices, all next to an open building with great shops. Corn hole game for the kiddos set up near the covered seating area. All 8 in our group agreed that this was the place to eat! Visited 2-3 times during our stay. Highly recommend!“

“We are HGV owners and are enjoying our time at the point. We can’t say enough about Mike and Marla the Magnificent and Zada! So helpful, so personable, food is great, so accommodating! Feel like I’ve known them forever! Unfortunately, we did not have the same experience with the December 4th morning bartender Keoki. He seemed bothered to have to assist us in any capacity. Short and disrespectful in his responses as well. Glad that we woke up to Marla on Friday to start our day!

“This place was highly recommended by my patient that was part of a Facebook Group that posted about this place a lot and they were featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. It was good and the service was fantastic, but not so good that we made a second stop on our trip. Their service was quick too, so it's a good stop if you only have a short time to eat! Their menu includes: Truffle Burger, Veggie Burger, Chicken Katsu Sandwich, Kenji Burger (teriyaki, ponzu aioli, caramelized onions, cheddar cheese, tomato & arugula), Misoyaki Fish Sandwich, Salads, Sushi Burritos & Bowls (loco moco, chicken katsu, misoyaki fish, and poke). There are 2 locations on the island“

“The vegetable rolls were delicious and the peanut sauce it comes with? So good!!!

We also had the chicken pad Thai and it was good. Nice chunks of chicken and the noodles were cooked perfectly.

We would definitely eat here again. I may stop just to get some of the vegetable rolls!“

“Have been on the Island 5 days so far and have enjoyed this beachfront destination at least 3 times so far. Stopped by and grabbed drinks and nachos...excellent! Stopped and had lunch the next day and the chicken teriyaki sandwiches were very good! Stopped for drinks and an early dinner last night and had a burger and fries, the wife had chicken teriyaki plate and both were great! Staff was great, very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.“

“We went for Mother's Day Brunch.....while it was a little expensive, it was well worth the experience. Amazing view, tremendous variety of great food and was a great day! While our reservation was for 11:30, we got there about 11:25 and didn't get seated until around 11:50......it was well worth the wait!! Wonderful experience!!“

“From Japan here. Where do I start. BAJA CHALUPAS 3! Sundays and Mondays at Lawai Beach Resort! It was great home style food! The portion size was huge!! The hot sauce was HOTTT but I like my hot sauce spicy hot so I enjoyed it. Do dare if you choose. Had a great conversation with Kryshtian! He was really cool. The shrimp quesadilla was great. The steak tacos were awesome. The chicken burrito was fire. Great prices too! If you are staying at Lawai beach resort, need to try it! Thank you Kryshtian once again. Much love!“

“Everything was delicious, I would love to try everything on the menu, I think it’s all equally good!! The noodles are amazing and so are the people! I couldn’t decide between two of the dishes so they let us have a small sample of the plate I didn’t order (even though they were so busy!) so we could try it. Thank you!!“

“We went to Isola Cucina to celebrate my birthday and had a great experience. The food was incredibly delicious. We had calamari fritti, focaccia with pesto butter and extra virgin olive oil, and shrimp maltagliati for appetizers.

For our main dishes, we had the ribeye steak with Chianti demi-glaze, chicken marsala, and shrimp scampi, all with sides of lobster. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Our desserts was ono too.

The hostess was very accommodating and our server was good. Our food came out on time and we didn’t have to wait long. They also had live music, which made the atmosphere even nicer.

Overall, it was a great place to have dinner or celebrate a special occasion and we had a fantastic birthday dinner.“

“This is a quick service burger joint. No frills but it’s not needed. The classic bubba burger hits just right, and personally, adding cheese makes it the right level of crispy, greasy, and cheesy yum.

I really appreciated that both times I went (yes, this was a dinner, then a repeat for lunch the next day) they confirmed the toppings and that I was signed up for the unusual mix. To be clear, I generally hate onions. I went for it with this burger and I’m so glad I did!

The fries and onion rings were simple and classic.

Also, there always seems to be a line but don’t let that scare you off! They’re very fast!“

“A friend recommded this restaurant a few years ago and we have been coming here several years now. So far, we only order garlic shrimps and coconut shrimps. Both dishes are delicious. There are a few tables for sitting down, but we see a lot of to go orders.“

“The Prime Rib was enjoyed by my son-in-law, and I LOVED the Stung Honey Fried Chicken. The coconut shrimp were the perfect accompianment to the King Tiki Mai Thai. My wife loved the Asian Salad, but my DIL thought the Macademia Crusted Mahi Mahi was a bit dry. Service was SPECTACULAR, and the kids menu was extensive - our 3.5 yo grandson loved the grilled cheese sandwich with waffle fries, our 19 month old grandaughter loved the pasta with marinara, and there was also pasta with butter sauce, cheese burger sliders with waffle fries, and chicken tenders with waffle fries. The view of the pool and ocean from under the lanai was also terrific!“

“Food is still good however the service now sucks. if your eating and want something else or another drink. whoever is serving you will not get it you are told that you must go back up to the cashier and order it there. what kind of crap is that. when told that I replied that "Then no need to tip you right" ? got a dirty look for that one, I'm just saying what's the purpose of having a waiter/waitress that won't get anything may as well go to the Crack. glad the one in Kalaheo isn't like poipu !!“
