“Food at La Spezia is outstanding! This was the first time dining at La Spezia (party of three), and we couldn't have been more pleased. Service was prompt, friendly, and attentive. The food was the most delicious any of of us has ever had. I ordered the gnocchi, my friend ordered the short rib ravioli (and couldn't stop raving about it!), and my husband devoured the wagyu hanger steak (he said it was amazing!). The wine we drank was terrific as well (a red zinfandel)! Even though all of us were full, we ordered dessert the salted caramel panna cotta, which was outstanding! All in all a meal we will never forget! We highly recommend La Spezia for a very enjoyable night, to anyone looking for a great restaurant in Koloa.“

“This food truck is the best place for poké on Kauai! Charming relaxed atmosphere, DELICIOUS food at affordable prices, all next to an open building with great shops. Corn hole game for the kiddos set up near the covered seating area. All 8 in our group agreed that this was the place to eat! Visited 2-3 times during our stay. Highly recommend!“

“This place was highly recommended by my patient that was part of a Facebook Group that posted about this place a lot and they were featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. It was good and the service was fantastic, but not so good that we made a second stop on our trip. Their service was quick too, so it's a good stop if you only have a short time to eat! Their menu includes: Truffle Burger, Veggie Burger, Chicken Katsu Sandwich, Kenji Burger (teriyaki, ponzu aioli, caramelized onions, cheddar cheese, tomato & arugula), Misoyaki Fish Sandwich, Salads, Sushi Burritos & Bowls (loco moco, chicken katsu, misoyaki fish, and poke). There are 2 locations on the island“

“We are HGV owners and are enjoying our time at the point. We can’t say enough about Mike and Marla the Magnificent and Zada! So helpful, so personable, food is great, so accommodating! Feel like I’ve known them forever! Unfortunately, we did not have the same experience with the December 4th morning bartender Keoki. He seemed bothered to have to assist us in any capacity. Short and disrespectful in his responses as well. Glad that we woke up to Marla on Friday to start our day!

“The vegetable rolls were delicious and the peanut sauce it comes with? So good!!!

We also had the chicken pad Thai and it was good. Nice chunks of chicken and the noodles were cooked perfectly.

We would definitely eat here again. I may stop just to get some of the vegetable rolls!“

“Have been on the Island 5 days so far and have enjoyed this beachfront destination at least 3 times so far. Stopped by and grabbed drinks and nachos...excellent! Stopped and had lunch the next day and the chicken teriyaki sandwiches were very good! Stopped for drinks and an early dinner last night and had a burger and fries, the wife had chicken teriyaki plate and both were great! Staff was great, very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.“

I couldn’t decide between two of the dishes so they let us have a small sample of the plate I didn’t order (even though they were so busy!) so we could try it. Thank you!!“

“We went for Mother's Day Brunch.....while it was a little expensive, it was well worth the experience. Amazing view, tremendous variety of great food and was a great day! While our reservation was for 11:30, we got there about 11:25 and didn't get seated until around 11:50......it was well worth the wait!! Wonderful experience!!“

“My wife, daughter and I were late looking for food one night and decided to try Isola Cucina. It's an interesting layout - tables in 3 different spots if you include the attached pizza joint.

It was getting later towards closing but that didn't seem to bother them, they seated us and gave attentive service. Food was really good and hit the spot for sure!“

“We found this place on accident. We were looking for somewhere with reasonably priced food for us poor southerners. Bubba’s fit the bill. We ordered the Double Bubba Burger, the fish sandwich, fries and onion rings and they were all amazing! The thing on the menu that caught my eye was the rice and chili, on the menu as a local favorite. I decided to try that. As you can well imagine, chili goes excellent with white rice. I can see why it’s a local favorite. Loved the atmosphere; open air inside or outside seating. Order at the counter and then wait for just a few minutes. Staff were super nice. We’re staying in Poipu Beach so we’ll definitely eat there again before we leave Kuaui.“

This is still a sports bar with lots of games on TVs all around.
The service was excellent, ask for Dusty The best waitress!!
For breakfast, we had the Loco Moco, Bananas Foster pancakes, awesome Bloody Mary's. Dinner was burgers, Ono kine calamari and Coconut fried shrimp.
Mango and Passion fruit margaritas. But the Kauai Brew Lilikoi Ale was so freaking good!

And then, how can you pass up JoJo's Shave Ice for dessert right next door?!“

“The Prime Rib was enjoyed by my son-in-law, and I LOVED the Stung Honey Fried Chicken. The coconut shrimp were the perfect accompianment to the King Tiki Mai Thai. My wife loved the Asian Salad, but my DIL thought the Macademia Crusted Mahi Mahi was a bit dry. Service was SPECTACULAR, and the kids menu was extensive - our 3.5 yo grandson loved the grilled cheese sandwich with waffle fries, our 19 month old grandaughter loved the pasta with marinara, and there was also pasta with butter sauce, cheese burger sliders with waffle fries, and chicken tenders with waffle fries. The view of the pool and ocean from under the lanai was also terrific!“

“Food is still good however the service now sucks. if your eating and want something else or another drink. whoever is serving you will not get it you are told that you must go back up to the cashier and order it there. what kind of crap is that. when told that I replied that "Then no need to tip you right" ? got a dirty look for that one, I'm just saying what's the purpose of having a waiter/waitress that won't get anything may as well go to the Crack. glad the one in Kalaheo isn't like poipu !!“
