“Tide Pools has a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The surf and turf was absolutely delicious; best on the island with amazing flavor. My only issue was the seating; we ended up in a less appealing spot despite the place not being busy. The portions are a bit small for the price, but the great taste made up for it. Overall, a fantastic meal with a minor seating quirk.“

“Food at La Spezia is outstanding! This was the first time dining at La Spezia (party of three), and we couldn't have been more pleased. Service was prompt, friendly, and attentive. The food was the most delicious any of of us has ever had. I ordered the gnocchi, my friend ordered the short rib ravioli (and couldn't stop raving about it!), and my husband devoured the wagyu hanger steak (he said it was amazing!). The wine we drank was terrific as well (a red zinfandel)! Even though all of us were full, we ordered dessert the salted caramel panna cotta, which was outstanding! All in all a meal we will never forget! We highly recommend La Spezia for a very enjoyable night, to anyone looking for a great restaurant in Koloa.“

Corn hole game for the kiddos set up near the covered seating area. All 8 in our group agreed that this was the place to eat! Visited 2-3 times during our stay. Highly recommend!“

“This place was highly recommended by my patient that was part of a Facebook Group that posted about this place a lot and they were featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. It was good and the service was fantastic, but not so good that we made a second stop on our trip. Their service was quick too, so it's a good stop if you only have a short time to eat! Their menu includes: Truffle Burger, Veggie Burger, Chicken Katsu Sandwich, Kenji Burger (teriyaki, ponzu aioli, caramelized onions, cheddar cheese, tomato & arugula), Misoyaki Fish Sandwich, Salads, Sushi Burritos & Bowls (loco moco, chicken katsu, misoyaki fish, and poke). There are 2 locations on the island“

“We are HGV owners and are enjoying our time at the point. We can’t say enough about Mike and Marla the Magnificent and Zada! So helpful, so personable, food is great, so accommodating! Feel like I’ve known them forever! Unfortunately, we did not have the same experience with the December 4th morning bartender Keoki. He seemed bothered to have to assist us in any capacity. Short and disrespectful in his responses as well. Glad that we woke up to Marla on Friday to start our day!

“Hands down the best Thai food on Kauai! It’s a food truck, but the kitchen is spotlessly clean and there’s a lovely, shaded seating area. Right in the heart of Koloa Town! We tried the Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Dragon Noodles, Larb Salad, and Thai Iced Tea—everything was absolutely delicious. Exceptional service and super friendly staff, too!“

“Have been on the Island 5 days so far and have enjoyed this beachfront destination at least 3 times so far. Stopped by and grabbed drinks and nachos...excellent! Stopped and had lunch the next day and the chicken teriyaki sandwiches were very good! Stopped for drinks and an early dinner last night and had a burger and fries, the wife had chicken teriyaki plate and both were great! Staff was great, very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.“

“Meaty enough! Lots of reviews criticized the patty size, but this is a delicious burger and five stars for the value. The fries are also top-notch. It makes for a great value meal in between bigger dinner splurges.

We highly recommend the Bubba Style with a double patty. The single patty is only 1/6 of a pound. Ideal for kids but not enough for a hungry adult. The special was solid too, and our group absolutely loved the addition of the pineapple!“

“Hidden gem in a small outdoor mall. We had the garlic shrimp tacos and the Aloha shrimp plate. Tacos were hard to eat as the tortillas fell apart but that wasn't the end all to the dish. “The Prime Rib was enjoyed by my son-in-law, and I LOVED the Stung Honey Fried Chicken. The coconut shrimp were the perfect accompianment to the King Tiki Mai Thai. My wife loved the Asian Salad, but my DIL thought the Macademia Crusted Mahi Mahi was a bit dry. Service was SPECTACULAR, and the kids menu was extensive - our 3.5 yo grandson loved the grilled cheese sandwich with waffle fries, our 19 month old grandaughter loved the pasta with marinara, and there was also pasta with butter sauce, cheese burger sliders with waffle fries, and chicken tenders with waffle fries. The view of the pool and ocean from under the lanai was also terrific!“

“Food is still good however the service now sucks. if your eating and want something else or another drink. whoever is serving you will not get it you are told that you must go back up to the cashier and order it there. what kind of crap is that. when told that I replied that "Then no need to tip you right" ? got a dirty look for that one, I'm just saying what's the purpose of having a waiter/waitress that won't get anything may as well go to the Crack. glad the one in Kalaheo isn't like poipu !!“
