Amazing place. We made reservations for our last night on the island as we were here for our honeymoon. They knew it was our honeymoon so gave us a special private table with exceptional views of the fish pond, the grounds and just the right amount of breeze. 4.5 stars. Service and atmosphere were amazing. Food was good, not amazing, and prices are high as to be expected in Hawaii at a luxury resort. I've dined at Tidepools before and each meal has been memorable for a good reason- this was no exception. The drinks are top notch (try a lava flow) as is the food. We are staying at the Hyatt. After a bad meal at Seaview Terrace we had an awesome night at Tidepools. The view is beautiful and the food was great. We had crab cakes and scallop appetizers which were very good. The scallops were encrusted and seared nicely. The crab cakes were almost all meat. For the entree my wife had the Hawaiian seafood platter with grilled scallop, prawn, lobster and sautéed swordfish.
