Merrimans is one of the best restaurants on the island, along with 1849 next door. It is really comfortable and mellow if they are not too busy, with live music some nights. Watch the sunset from your table. The crab cakes or the soup of the day are good starters. Tomato bisque and the ube soup with coconut cream were both delicious. Great view of sunset from the balcony. Waiter gave great description of the menu and specials. Food quality was excellent as we all had seafood. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
