Our food and experience were amazing. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Beautiful location with a great sunset view over a lush landscape and mountainside.
Our server was great. My wife enjoyed her meal. My meal was not hot or even luke warm. Celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary and they sent complimentary glass of champagne and desert medley.

Our server, Tina, was wonderful. She took great care of us and made the entire evening fun. We were seated on the balcony so noise level was low and view beautiful. Food was back up to the standard of Merriman's of old. Delicious, fresh and attractively served. Good cocktails. We'll be back.

Our server Ashlyn made our evening so special. She remembered our names, had perfect check in timing, always upbeat and just the right amount of friendly. Food was amazing from apps to dessert. Especially loved our dishes with shrimp and scallop was incredible! Chocolate dessert was over the top. We loved the lillikoi mousse also. French press coffee to round it out was a treat Sunset views were stunning. Can't wait to return.

We were luck to get an early seating and got a table at the railing with Christina managing our choices. We followed her lead across the board. Tahitian ceviche. With Tao chips. Excellent Ma Ki, seafood trio. Very good Whole Snapper. Moist, fun to share. Very good as well. Then the pineapple bread pudding with Tahitian Vanilla Ice cream. Nice finish to the meal. Thank you.
From beginning to end, our experience at Merriman's Kauai was nothing but outstanding! We had the pleasure of having Ashlyn as our waitress, she was super friendly and extremely professional. Honestly, probably one of the best servers I have ever had. My husband and I are on our honeymoon, and this is by far the best place we have gone to yet! Our server asked if we were celebrating any special occasion and we told her it was our honeymoon. Minutes later she brought over champagne to our table for us to toast. We started out with the crab cakes as our appetizer, which were delicious! Ashlyn also brought out another small appetizer they give to guests for a celebrating a special occasion. It was a veggie poke dish (also very delicious). Our dinners were amazing! We got the Ma Kai and the Merriman's Duo. The flavors in these dishes were very different and tasted amazing. And finally for dessert we ordered the pineapple bread pudding. Our server also brought us out a dessert to celebrate our honeymoon! I'd give this place a 10/10 for their amazing food and service. Can't wait to come back again!

Bobby was our server and did an excellent job making our family feel welcome and relaxed. We began our dining experience with drinks (Marriman's is known for their Mai Tai's) followed by an assortment of appetizers (the Poke flavoring was amazing), our entrees both surf and turf were flavorful and expertly prepared ( I recommend the Chef Special Ma Kai ) and lastly dessert (the pineapple bread pudding and chocolate purse). A excellent dinner and another wonderful experience!!

My bone-in New York strip was cooked to perfection, and my husband's venison and shrimp kabobs were a delightful combination.But what truly touched our hearts was the surprise dessert Bobby brought out for our anniversary. We hadn't mentioned it, yet he had heard us talking while waiting for a table. It's these thoughtful gestures that set Merrimen's apart.Thank you to the entire team at Merrimen's for a magical evening. We'll cherish the memories made here for years to come. We had an amazing meal and excellent service at Merriman’s! A wonderful place to celebrate a special event. Eric, our server, was fantastic, attentive, and treated us so well. He’s the best! The food was incredible. Tako “escargot”, taro hummus, macadamia crusted catch of the day, and ma kai. Such fresh ingredients and delicious flavors. High recommend!
Everyone was great and the service with out waitress was awesome! My fish was good but a little too much macadamia nuts I think it would have been perfect if it was a little less. The ceviche was good but just a lil chunky instead of being a creamy base. We also ordered the fillet and it was good although it needs to have better sides the veggies didn't go well with it. My drink was way too sweet and we ordered an Arnold Palmer and it was way different than just tea and lemonade.
We came here twice during our stay in Kauai. We had incredible servers, and delicious bites. The Mai Tai was delicious of course but my favorite was the Papaya, Tomato, Fennell salad. Cant wait to visit in the other island. 10/10

The food was absolutely delicious with many different fusion dishes including the seafood and taco escargot! We absolutely enjoyed our meal, Our server name was Ashley and she was very knowledgeable about merrimans history and menu. Her service was excellent, definitely will return with family and friends.

Excellent crab cakes and tomato coconut cream soup. I had the seafood special and it was not my favorite. Very thin and very done. My husband and sister in law loved their food. Service was outstanding and don't forget to have a Mai tai.

Staff was very accommodating. We had one guest who could only eat specific foods. We talked to a manager, and they gave us several options. We also had 2 guests who are older and have some issues that make it difficult to take them out. Again, the staff was very good at working with them. We go to Merriman's every time we are on Kauai.
