While the restaurant is a takeout window, there is ample seating space in the open cafe and plenty of shops to explore in the nearby complex while your food is prepared.“

I’m used to food prices being high in The Islands, and though the food was good, the burger was very petite, and the onion rings were left in the deep fryer a bit too long. Still it was fun to revisit. Just wish they had a restroom on site.“

“Staffs are friendly. This is my first time to visit. U basically tell them what u like and they will suggest you which combination you would order. All of the items look so good. I always wanted to try sesame Poke Ahi, sesame scallops, kimchi, stuffed chicken and pork Lau Lau with rice for my husband and I. Love all of them! “If you are fortunate enough to be served by Phan, you’re going to get great service, an amazing experience and most importantly serious good Thai food. My wife and I are a bit of a Chicken Pad Thai snobs, and this was some of the best we’ve had. This is a busy area, parking can be tricky, but it’s worth parking and walking if you have to. The Pad Thai is a bit on the peppery side, just fyi. Chicken is tender, portion is generous, fresh lime with cabbage garnish (rather than sprouts). Noodles cooked/worked to perfection. We didn’t try anything other menu items but wish we would have.“

“Went to hukilau for 37th wedding anniversary. Oct 15. Was dying for prime rib. Didn’t care about price I wanted Prime rib so so bad. All we get here on Kauai is choice. There is no fat in the meat no marbling and you can’t cut it with a fork. You have to slice every bite. That is choice. And if you’re good with that. Then the rib is great. It was cooked perfectly. But I wanted the prime rib. Prime has fat all thru it and so tender the meat falls apart. Little pieces of fat around the edges and you can see the marbling in the center. I actually asked the waitress what was on my plate (which I have never ever done before) and she said it was prime she even went to the chef to check. He too said it was prime. I have cooked a lot of prime rib in my lifetime so I feel like I know what talking about but I felt like I was being blown off like an unknowing tourist. All I know is that my meat did not look anything like what is in the photo of their prime rib on the website with photos of their menu. Love this place otherwise. Been going there for 30 years. Incredibly nice waithelp and an incredible view for a romantic evening.“

“This are by far the best tacos we’ve had in the island. We tried the pastor ones, asada and mahi mahi and they were very good. The green salsa they had went great with the asada tacos. We are Mexicans and know about real tacos so we really recommend this place.“

“Randomly ran into this place and it was total worth it. Great chat with the staff. Got the Sampler Plate and Mac salad. Shared it with my husband and it was more than enough.
Shredded beef and pork was tasty and I loved it in the BBQ sauce. The chicken was the juiciest, most tender I have ever had in my life! Could have at just a plate of the chicken. Ribs were also on point.
If you are in the area, go!
Also, I thought it was fun to have the little water guns for the chickens... You will understand once you go.
I did not try the self serve bar wall but definitely something to do next time.“

“My husband and I have been eating our way through the menu and haven't had a bad meal ever! It's my favorite place to eat on the island. My personal favorites are the deep fried mac n cheese or fries poutine appetizers, the duck or lamb dinners and always the cheesecake with bacon toffee or chocolate pudding. Drinks are fantastic and I love the infused smoked effects that can be added or the sweet martini drink on the dessert menu that tastes like drinking a snickerdoodle cookie. They have the biggest selection of whiskey, bourbon, scotch and rye around. A definate must try! It's truly the BOMB! ❤“

There were people waiting for a table when we left a little over an hour after we were seated. This was a Tuesday night. Staff cleared the extra settings after filling our water cups. Our server brought us a complementary wonton appetizer and took our order. Our order came with miso soup, which was served first. Staff was attentive clearing bowls as we finished them and filling our water and tea cups. We got the C special which comes with soba noodles and a box with the tempura (vegetables, fish and shrimp) and sashimi (ahi/tuna). Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Ambiance wise it was loud inside with conversations that you can barely hear the background music. A sign that everyone is having a good time.“

We had the vegetable curry and chicken saag with a piece of naan bread and two Marsala Teas. It was enough food for 3 people. The owner was super friendly and helpful. Had a great experience!
