I popped in for a happy hour drink. Great deal on well drinks! Made from scratch Margarita was outstanding - I watched the bartender squeeze the citrus. No beer taps, bottles only. A few local regulars at the bar, and I felt welcome to sit. Didn’t get a sense for if there was food, but after about an hour I could hear that the kitchen was going. First time we went was for happy hour. We chose to sit at the bar at the last two seats available at the end. We had to shout out our orders. The Mai Tai was just OK. They have a nice selection of local beers. We had the Edamame and the Tempura Mushroom Bombers. Both were pretty good.They told us about Sunday Brunch and football season in Hawaii means games start at 8:00 am so we gave them another try. OMG! The brunch menu is very good. A great little dive. Stopped in a couple times during our stay the bartenders were all super friendly and recommended the fish and chips. Sometimes eating at a dive can be risky but it was so good! They make their own tartar sauce and it was exceptional I don't normally care for tartar. Drinks were reasonably priced.
