“Staffs are friendly. This is my first time to visit. U basically tell them what u like and they will suggest you which combination you would order. All of the items look so good. I always wanted to try sesame Poke Ahi, sesame scallops, kimchi, stuffed chicken and pork Lau Lau with rice for my husband and I. Love all of them! U can tell they have good quality of food and prepared them well in order to keep them fresh! Highly recommend! Love this Hawaii food! 👏👏👍“

“Randomly stopped at the coconut marketplace farmers market and I’m glad I did. Got a few things from their stall there and it was ridiculously good and also very reasonably priced. The woman who helped me was extremely kind and walked me through the options they had. There was some kind of sticky bun/cinnamon roll with macadamia nuts on it that called to me. It was so good that I’m going to go to their actual location and get another one sometime very soon. If you’re in the area I’d definitely suggest stopping by.“

“Went to hukilau for 37th wedding anniversary. Oct 15. Was dying for prime rib. Didn’t care about price I wanted Prime rib so so bad. All we get here on Kauai is choice. There is no fat in the meat no marbling and you can’t cut it with a fork. You have to slice every bite. That is choice. And if you’re good with that. Then the rib is great. It was cooked perfectly. But I wanted the prime rib. Prime has fat all thru it and so tender the meat falls apart. Little pieces of fat around the edges and you can see the marbling in the center. I actually asked the waitress what was on my plate (which I have never ever done before) and she said it was prime she even went to the chef to check. He too said it was prime. I have cooked a lot of prime rib in my lifetime so I feel like I know what talking about but I felt like I was being blown off like an unknowing tourist. All I know is that my meat did not look anything like what is in the photo of their prime rib on the website with photos of their menu. Love this place otherwise. Been going there for 30 years. Incredibly nice waithelp and an incredible view for a romantic evening.“

As soon as we walked in and sat down, we knew this place was legit because of the skateboarding/surfing videos and how hard everyone was working. Their menu provides several seafood options that I would argue are the best on Kaua’i. I highly recommend the Ahi Au Poivre sandwich with Mac Salad.

“hands down the best coffee shop on the north shore and i would even say across the island. if you care about nourishing your body with top quality and intentionally sourced ingredients, this is it. i mean c’mon they offer fresh coconut milk to add in your drinks and it IS worth the up charge. i am personally obsessed w their mintcha chip matcha. and their avo toast is life giving. the owner jackson makes it a priority to offer and support local businesses which is so important for the community, as community is everything on this little rock. “I visited about four times during a nearly month long visit to Anahola. Service was friendly and food top notch. I mostly got the cheese board. The price seemed high but comparing it to similar items on the east coast, the price was comparable considering the differences between east coast and Hawaii prices. The board had three good quality cheeses, salami, prosciutto, fresh berries, Kalamata olives, bread and other accompaniments. I usually sat at the bar and service was very friendly.“

“Yummy! This was an absolutely pleasant surprise. I found them because their Ahi Wrap was featured on Food Network's: The Best Thing I Ever Ate. Admittedly, there were issues with our order with the food taking longer than normal, so we were offered a container of poke to say sorry! The fish was so fresh and delicious. I chose the fresh catch plate (Ono) and the dipping sauces that came with it were delicious, my mouth is STILL watering! Seating is limited outdoors, but definitely still warrants a stop. Parking is plentiful in the front and back of this shopping mall.“

“My husband and I have been eating our way through the menu and haven't had a bad meal ever! It's my favorite place to eat on the island. My personal favorites are the deep fried mac n cheese or fries poutine appetizers, the duck or lamb dinners and always the cheesecake with bacon toffee or chocolate pudding. Drinks are fantastic and I love the infused smoked effects that can be added or the sweet martini drink on the dessert menu that tastes like drinking a snickerdoodle cookie. They have the biggest selection of whiskey, bourbon, scotch and rye around. A definate must try! It's truly the BOMB! ❤“

Menu includes maki rolls, sushi burritos, musubis, poke, and miso soup. Dedicated gluten free (including the soy sauce), so safe for Celiac. Can also accommodate vegetarian and vegan diners. The ahi musubi and crab (cooked) musubi we had were delicious, as was the house made organic iced tea, sweetened with local honey. To my palate, the miso soup was under-seasoned. Everything is made to order, and our 10 minute wait went by quickly. Seating is outside in partial shade.“

“We were in Kauai for 3 days and on our first night here, we decided to try Coconut Thai & Chinese Cuisine. We liked it so much that we decided to come back the second night.
And how could we end our trip in Kauai without eating there for our last diner. So here we are for the third time in a row. And we are not disappointed at all. We loved everything that we had here. We tried the padthai, the coconut curry, the Pan Fried Lo Mein and the Fresh Kauai Shrimp. It was EXCELLENT. We truly recommend this place. The waiter Silo is so nice and the food so good.

“Bubba's is a must if you need a hamburger on Kauai. Located in Kapa'a. There is a small outdoor deck or an inside space. The deck is better even on a rainy day. They offer tomato and lettuce on their burgers but they don't recommend it. They haven't had them on their burgers on 70 years. I got the double bubba with cheese, an onion rings and a chocolate malt. All were delicious. They can get quite busy on the afternoon, but many orders are take away. Tables are usually available.“
