“Bar Acuda is a must when we come to Kauai each summer. The main problem is getting reservations. You must log in 30 days in advance @ 3pm HST. You have to try within 5-10 minutes in order to score a reservation. Otherwise, you can get notified if a spot opens. Or you can go around 4:30-5 in person & try for walk-in spots. Not sure how easy it is to get a table by walking in.
A tapas restaurant that uses local ingredients, it is consistently excellent. We have basically covered the entire menu over the years. Our favorites include the cucumber salad, broccoli w/ burrata, lamb riblets, Kauai shrimp & the lentils. You really can’t go wrong. The lilikoi cheesecake is light & creamy & a must have. The lemon crumble ice cream with pistachios is refreshing.

“Coffee is great, barista was phenomenal. Vibe and servers and amazing. Food is just not worth the dollar. Just for the higher price of food, breakfast burrito is packed more with potatoes than eggs. Egg Sandwich was the same just poorly made.

But as coffee goes, great coffee spot.“
