“Definitely giving this restaurant 5 stars. Had 5 meals at tonight's dinner and each one was awesome. Mahi Mahi was incredible!! There was a line (5:15pm on a Sunday night) but we got in pretty quickly. If there is a wait...just chill and enjoy the paradise you are in! Live music just started which is perfect. Drinks were great and our hostess didn't write down one thing...and not one thing was incorrect!! Not sure how she did that, but that's impressive for a party of 5. Would definitely come back here.“
“Postcards was delicious and so cute and quaint inside! We got the market fish which was swordfish and it was SO GOOD the flavors were wonderful! The drinks were great as well and the staff was kind and friendly! They gave my son a cute little fruit plate face :)“
“Food was delicious. Nice breezy setting in downtown Hanalei. Service was great and perfect spot for a casual lunch with our kids. Waiter accidentally brought out the stuffed pepper soup instead of my daughter's chicken noodle soup. He apologized and said the first soup was on the house. My husband and I ate it and it was delicious! Had awesome pie for dessert- made with coffee ice cream, macadamia nuts and coconut, I liked it even more than regular hula pie. For a nice casual lunch this place was great.“
“Delicious sushi. Not sure why ratings aren't higher! Compared to Wimea Terrace at the 1 hotel, and the sushi is better here. Himachi crudo was amazing and melted on your mouth. We got the Hanalei roll and the landslide roll, both of which were delicious.“
“This was hands down the best dining experience we’ve had on our trip to Hawaii.We were in a bit of a hurry to catch our flight but stopped anyway and it was 100% the correct decision. Amber provided top notch, friendly and efficient service. She had great suggestions and got us out the door with plenty of time to get to the airport. The Sunset sushi roll was TO DIE FOR. Best sushi my partner and I have had. And the atmosphere and setting is open air and breathtaking. Really incomparable honestly. We were so glad for this to be our last experience in Hawaii before heading back to New York. Thank you!!“
“My wife and I came here two years ago and had to go back this trip. JP, the owner was so incredibly friendly and helpful. The wait staff was also excellent and knowledgeable. The food was as we remembered… fresh and delicious. I can’t recommend this place highly enough… we will be back whenever we are in Kauai!“
“The freshest poke we had on this island!! We got spicy ahi poke nachos and it was my first time trying fish roe and actually enjoying it. Normally it’s off putting but that roe was the perfect topping on the nachos! The shrimp tacos were tasty also! With the quality of the seafood being top notch, everything else tasted amazing? highly recommend!!!“
“This place is just what the name says, the vibe, music and staff give everyone a sense of happiness which makes one feel at home. The drinks were really good, we went for some mai tais with fish and chips and shrimp tacos for my wife. To top it off we had the lava cake for dessert which was also delicious. Overall, this is a happy place to have a good time, listen to some good music with some good drinks and delicious food. I do recommend it!“
“The food was fantastic. We came across this little spot on the back side of a building, and were glad we did. The Poke was not too salty, not too spicy, not too sweet. And the rice was fantastic. We noted it in our guidebook for our next visit to Kauai, and any others we lend the book to. It's a good one!“
