We brought a little white wine with us and everything was perfect! I would return and recommend it without hesitation. The staff was also very pleasant and accommodating.“

Wishing Hanalei and all of Kauai the best and speedy recovery after hurricane Lowell downed power lines, trees and wrecked buildings this week. “Kinda expensive for what you get in the portion. The fish tasted fresh and the sauce was good, just expected a little more.
If you are in the area it’s worth trying but I think there’s better options on the south side of the island.“

“The food is exactly what you expect from L&L. Solid barbecue, done well, and just as good as any other L&L you’ve been to. They do run a more limited, modified menu here, though.

That said, the location right in the center of Hanalei makes it worth the stop. Sitting there, hanging out, and just watching the flow of people through town is part of the experience.

If you’re specifically looking for the full L&L menu, you’d probably be better off heading back to Kapaa where there are a couple of locations. But if you’re in Hanalei and want good barbecue in the middle of one of the best little towns on the island, it’s a great place to grab a bite.“

“Their authentic Japanese ramen bowls are perfectly seasoned and flavorful. We had the ramen with pork belly and they were delicious. They have lots of fun and yummy appetizers, our favorites were the bao buns and the brussel sprouts. The atmosphere is great and I highly recommend a reservation because the wait can be quite long.“

“We had lunch today and the service and food was amazing. The lady who waited on us was super friendly and gave us some history of the restaurant. We love the open air seating and all the chickens running around. We would recommend you try it! We had the orange chicken and drunken noodles. Big portions and the food was hot and fresh.“

“Yummy! This was an absolutely pleasant surprise. I found them because their Ahi Wrap was featured on Food Network's: The Best Thing I Ever Ate. Admittedly, there were issues with our order with the food taking longer than normal, so we were offered a container of poke to say sorry! The fish was so fresh and delicious. I chose the fresh catch plate (Ono) and the dipping sauces that came with it were delicious, my mouth is STILL watering! Seating is limited outdoors, but definitely still warrants a stop. Parking is plentiful in the front and back of this shopping mall.“

“Amazing views, delicious, clean food and relaxing atmosphere. We came twice and when it was busy, we had to wait for parking but not long. My kids have allergies and they were able to look up ingredients easily and were so kind about it. My kids liked that they had keiki bowls so they didn’t have to share one haha. They enjoyed having their own. We will definitely be back on future trips!“

“hands down the best coffee shop on the north shore and i would even say across the island. if you care about nourishing your body with top quality and intentionally sourced ingredients, this is it. i mean c’mon they offer fresh coconut milk to add in your drinks and it IS worth the up charge. i am personally obsessed w their mintcha chip matcha. and their avo toast is life giving. the owner jackson makes it a priority to offer and support local businesses which is so important for the community, as community is everything on this little rock. “We actually stay at Princeville area & tired of how busy Hanalei area is. So decided to drive a little bit to more quiet area to enjoy dinner peacefully.
Totally worth the drive!
The place is clean, service is very fast & the foods are tasty!
My husband order BBQ Mixed Plate, come with white rice & macaroni salad - very tasty, the chicken is very tender, the beef a bit chewy but tastes good. He also got Thai boba milk tea.
I ordered Garlic Shrimp that comes with brown rice and salad. It’s so good & perfect portion for me! Love the light salad dressing they provide - sweet sour taste.
My toddler gets cheeseburger & able to finished almost the whole thing!
The place pretty small, has 2 tables inside that can sit 4 & 6 people, 2 tables outside & there’s like 4-5 bar seats against the wall.
Overall it’s a very good experience, very affordable price with big portion when you get the combo.
We’ve been wanting to try a place that’s more local vibes & this is definitely it is! They are pretty busy with mostly take out orders during our visit .. they are all seem to be local that live nearby.

“My husband and I have been eating our way through the menu and haven't had a bad meal ever! It's my favorite place to eat on the island. My personal favorites are the deep fried mac n cheese or fries poutine appetizers, the duck or lamb dinners and always the cheesecake with bacon toffee or chocolate pudding. Drinks are fantastic and I love the infused smoked effects that can be added or the sweet martini drink on the dessert menu that tastes like drinking a snickerdoodle cookie. They have the biggest selection of whiskey, bourbon, scotch and rye around. A definate must try! It's truly the BOMB! ❤“
