“Let’s be honest, for the prices you’re not getting anything particularly special. Good place for loaves of bread, olive toast was good, banana bread is good, but nothing is going to leave you dying to come back for me.

Also they don’t serve Hawaiian coffee??? They had a 20% blend but come on guys lean into what makes the island special.“

They have lots of fun and yummy appetizers, our favorites were the bao buns and the brussel sprouts. The atmosphere is great and I highly recommend a reservation because the wait can be quite long.“

“The food is exactly what you expect from L&L. Solid barbecue, done well, and just as good as any other L&L you’ve been to. They do run a more limited, modified menu here, though.

That said, the location right in the center of Hanalei makes it worth the stop. Sitting there, hanging out, and just watching the flow of people through town is part of the experience.

If you’re specifically looking for the full L&L menu, you’d probably be better off heading back to Kapaa where there are a couple of locations. But if you’re in Hanalei and want good barbecue in the middle of one of the best little towns on the island, it’s a great place to grab a bite.“

“We had lunch today and the service and food was amazing. The lady who waited on us was super friendly and gave us some history of the restaurant. We love the open air seating and all the chickens running around. We would recommend you try it! We had the orange chicken and drunken noodles. Big portions and the food was hot and fresh.“
