“If I could eat and hangout somewhere everyday, this would be the spot. Their Shave Ice is like no other. Organic ingredients, which makes the flavors last, not just a sugary syrup. And you cannot go wrong with MacNut Ice cream! I got the Organic Hanalei Sweetie, substituted the MacNut icecream, and added Lilikoi.Their Coffee House serves my absolute favorite Açai Bowls, which I love to modify and build my own! Not to mention you get a keep sake, a stunning souvenir from Hanalei, the most picturesque town, and with the most authentic and great message of their Brand "Slow Yourself Down".These people know what they are doing. And I am so dang glad that we stumbled upon this place. If only we didn't live on the East Coast of Canada........“
“We had dinner here and it was DELICIOUS! We had the coconut shrimp curry, Ono curry and Vegetable curry... and naan! It was all SO AMAZING! Will definitely return here next time we're on the island and pass the word on to our traveling friends. So good!“
“We loved their shaved ice but at this location they take too long to serve you. My husband ended up having to throw away half our ice as they took so long, we didn't have time to finish it because our tour bus was leaving and we couldn't take it on board. Our tour guide told us about the other location in Kapaa where were staying so we had a do over later.“
“Excellent food. And as a girl who typically loves her Texas barbecue, I’m very particular when it comes to grilled and smoked meats. These guys know how to do it. Top notch! Great sauces too!And best of all, kind and friendly employees. Will be back for sure!“
“The food was fantastic. We came across this little spot on the back side of a building, and were glad we did. The Poke was not too salty, not too spicy, not too sweet. And the rice was fantastic. We noted it in our guidebook for our next visit to Kauai, and any others we lend the book to. It's a good one!“
“Wow! If you are traveling through Kapaa, you must stop at Holey Grail Donuts. We decided to order the tasting box that featured 4 donuts, and they were all delicious, especially the snickerdoodle. They are freshly prepared, so it can take a little time, but totally worth it! I also ordered a Chai latte, which was also delicious.“
“Delicious food, wait time is a bit long considering that they get lots of customers- they are pretty popular in the island, so be sure to come earlier to order if you have somewhere to go next, but definitely worth it. They’re turkey club sandwich with bacon is delicious, as well as the smoothies :)“
“Organic local flavors. Delicious. Out of the way but worth it. Order around back. Choice from traditional flavors to exotic. Just a few one lane bridges past Hanalei. Only notice would be no cell service up this far. Hope they leave it that way.“
“We visited during high season, the decision to seat a party of five at the bar was a bizarre choice, but at least we weren’t turned away. The food was delicious. They have a nice patio where the wait for a table is not bad.To be fair some of the delays were due to tourists walking away from the place -the staff goes out of their way to honor the spots- in a perfect world people would be ready to seat at first call.“
“It's a decent fast-food Hawaiian BBQ joint. We probably could've gotten better food in the area, but even these guys were 20-30 minutes from entering line to getting food while everyone else was an hour at least. Limited seating on old picnic tables that need some attention.“
“We had heard others talking about Pink's Creamery in Hanalei for some time but had never stopped by. We finally did on our recent visit and were super happy to see they offered at least one vegan option on their menu. The vegan flavor option changes often and the day we visited it was plain coconut ice cream. It was delightful, creamy, fresh coconut flavor and a fair sized portion. It was a really nice treat after having a disappointing dinner nearby. The interior of the place itself is a bit cramped with minimal seating. There was a small sign at the entrance instructing customers to enter one at a time that no one seemed to pay attention to. We followed the rules but found ourselves surrounded by other peoples children as we waited to pay. We exited as quickly as we could after receiving our cup and enjoyed it away from the crowd which I recommend if you go here. We walked here but there is parking out in front of the place but it seemed kind of chaotic. Your best bet is to park down the street a bit and walk up.“
