The roasted veggie panini was good, but the mac nut banana bread was average.
While in North Kauai, Hanalei Bread Company was at the top of our list. Sad to say, we arrived just before closing.
We grabbed some delicious coffee and a quick pastry from the counter, and both were excellent. Everything tasted fresh and was the perfect pick-me-up.
Parking can be a challenge during peak season, so I'd recommend going early. Let me know what you think if you visit!

The portions are huge, the staff is friendly and super knowledgeable, and the food is gluten free friendly! They can make most of their items with their gluten free bread, and it’s good! Not dry and doesn’t completely fall apart! There haven’t been any GF pastries in the case since I’ve been but I’ve read that they are delicious. They have a great dirty chai (with mac milk) both iced and hot! You won’t be disappointed!

Hanalei Bread Company is a must-stop in Kauai, offering great breakfast options. Long lines are common, but they move quickly. Favorites include the delicious Brekkie Sandwich, avocado toast, ham and egg croissant, and chocolate croissant. The coffee and tea are excellent. It is a perfect spot to fuel up before a hike, with the Hanalei Market and shops nearby. Parking is available in a free lot and on the street.
