“Wonderful place to grab a coffee and take in breathtaking views while sipping on a fresh brew. The owner is wonderful to talk to and it’s fun to browse the available art from local artisans. Definitely detour to this spot for and pick-me-up if in the area - you won’t be disappointed!“
“Fantastic breakfast spot in Hanalei. The closest traditional American place we found with various egg options. The plain bagel with cream cheese was a hit with my youngest, while the two eggs and bacon and rice was perfect for my wife. The Veg breakfast sandwich was a hit with everyone. So good in fact my oldest had to order another one. Drip coffee was good, lots of other fun options as well.“
“Very good pastries, as are the cappuccinos. All the things that come from the kitchen are made on the spot, you can feel and perceive the freshness of the goods. I recommend the beagel with cream cheese and the Acai Bowl with fresh fruit, the bee nectar is extremely nutritious!“
“Wow! If you are traveling through Kapaa, you must stop at Holey Grail Donuts. We decided to order the tasting box that featured 4 donuts, and they were all delicious, especially the snickerdoodle. They are freshly prepared, so it can take a little time, but totally worth it! I also ordered a Chai latte, which was also delicious.“
“It was refreshing to be able to grab some high-quality coffee. The client I work for provides free coffee for me from Starbucks' and I grab their coffee and drinks multiple times a day. However, there is a notable difference between Starbucks coffee and coffee from a little cafe. They are located in the back of the market. They had a pretty small menu with good variety. They were very kind and patient. The cafe is take out but you can find a comfy place to sit in the center where you can sit and enjoy.Definitely recommend.“
“Delicious food, wait time is a bit long considering that they get lots of customers- they are pretty popular in the island, so be sure to come earlier to order if you have somewhere to go next, but definitely worth it. They’re turkey club sandwich with bacon is delicious, as well as the smoothies :)“
“I LOVE Nanea so MATCHA! The best matcha in the World. My favorite is Oat Rose Matcha with touch of Honey. Mason & his team are always bringing the good vibes. Also, you get to sip amongst Native Hawaiian plants!!! A must visit spot on the North Shore, bring your dogs!????“
“Stopped here on our last day as the resort we stayed at did not have any breakfast options. We were pleasantly surprised by the food! We got one burrito and a French toast sandwich. Both items were really good especially the garlic aioli that came with the burrito! Will definitely come back !“
“We were here every day of our vacation once we found this fabulous coffee shop. Pastries are amazing but get there early for the best selection - delivery is at 7. Breakfast menu is solid with recommendations of the power bowl (you can have the egg scrambled if you want) and the acai bowl. The Wired Monkey was my favourite and the lattes are also a solid choice. Friendly and attentive staff! Shop has indoor and outdoor seating - plenty of parking available.“
“I've been going to Kilauea Bakery my whole life. I love the macadamia nuts and sticky buns. Their pizza with Gorgonzola sauce is great, and the ham rolls are yummy. My kids are big fans of the cinnamon twists. This bakery is a big part of our community and my family loves it. Highly recommend it.“

“One of the best options for a quick and well made breakfast in the area. Good egg bowls, and we love the local sausage sandwich. Smoothies, acai, you know the drill. Call ahead to preorder so you can go straight to the pickup line, there is a minimum service fee and payment is by credit card. There is a large covered outdoor seating area, or you can grab and go. Plenty of parking.PS Do not begrudge mandatory tips on Kaua'i and please be generous in optional situations. Our workers and local families cannot afford to live here and everyone benefits from their labor.“
“Service:The young girl serving a continued crowd throughout the day was amazing. Any employer should be happy to know your shop is in good hands. Therefore, my review regarding staff is A+. She was professional, constantly pleasant and greeted everyone with a smile.Ambiance:There isn't anything special about the venue. It's in a high-traffic marketplace with no one to clean the tables filled with syrup from shave ice selections.Food:I had the pina colada fruit shave ice and it was good but not 'knock my socks off good.' There wasn't much fruit on the shave ice to make it cost $12 rather than an $8 no fruit. Waste of money in my opinion!“
“If I could eat and hangout somewhere everyday, this would be the spot. Their Shave Ice is like no other. Organic ingredients, which makes the flavors last, not just a sugary syrup. And you cannot go wrong with MacNut Ice cream! I got the Organic Hanalei Sweetie, substituted the MacNut icecream, and added Lilikoi.Their Coffee House serves my absolute favorite Açai Bowls, which I love to modify and build my own! Not to mention you get a keep sake, a stunning souvenir from Hanalei, the most picturesque town, and with the most authentic and great message of their Brand "Slow Yourself Down".These people know what they are doing. And I am so dang glad that we stumbled upon this place. If only we didn't live on the East Coast of Canada........“
