“This is helpful when you are in a pinch but you pay for the convenience. To go food is disappointing compared to other nearby options. Don't order the boneless ribs, it's actually 2 strips of flank steak reheated on a flat top, not the same thing! Sushi Shiono makes good grab n go sushi and the Wine bar has some great options, for late night too.“

I would go in the drive thru and get food if you want to get your food faster because it takes longer going inside and get it usually. Would I recommend coming here? Yes of course! There is an outdoor seating in a beautiful garden space, but it was a drizzly morning and most people were taking their coffee to go. It seems to be a popular with locals — the few people we chatted with in line live in the area. There was a steady stream of people; I’d call it busy but not crowded and the barista served us all at a steady paced that felt efficient. He acknowledged everyone as they walked up and didn’t seem too bothered when I asked a couple questions about the plants in the seating area. I was careful to only ask two questions since he was busy and I can talk a lot! 😅

Overall the atmosphere felt friendly and relaxed and I wish I’d had an opportunity to come back during my trip.“

“Stopped by The Jammin’ Banana Bakery & Cafe and loved it! We tried the malasadas and they were fresh, soft, and absolutely delicious. Paired them with a cold brew, which was smooth and refreshing — a perfect combo. The staff was incredibly friendly, photogenic and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I’d come back to and recommend to others!“

“This place is amazing! I had a chai latte which was spicy, flavorful and delicious. I loved that the to go cup tops are made of a biodegradable cardboard and they have nice water cups and cool merch. Too bad I only discovered it on the last day of my trip.“

“This French toast and the Portuguese sausage breakfast my wife got were amazing. Side of bacon was the best smoked maple bacon I've ever had, not too smokey but just enough. The French toast though. First it has like this coconut custard type stuff on top which is absolutely the best thing that's ever touched my taste buds. And pair that with the French toast, ooh man we got a problem. I want to eat it every day. Every. Day. I couldn't even take a good picture because I ate the entire thing sitting in front of the shop because I got it to go and just ate the whole thing. Like the sign says, takes about 15 minutes to make and it was worth it.

“Our family very recently vacationed in Kauai to celebrate my parents 50th anniversary. I had reached out to Ko Bakery several weeks before our trip to have a cake made to surprise my parents. We chose the Haupia with Lime buttercream and also got a dozen cupcakes (yellow cake with chocolate buttercream) for the kiddos. The cake and cupcakes were AMAZING!!!! Their customer service is incredible (especially since we were communicating through email) and pick up was a breeze. I highly recommend Ko Bakery!!!“
