“Absolutely the best desserts in the North shore. Here you can get mango or pineapple soft serve with no added sugar and no dairy and it's delicious. We also tried the root beer float shave ice which was surprisingly delicious they use high quality ingredients here.“

“So absolutely good! 👍 👍 We revisited several times during our week in Princeville. Food is fresh, variety is good, taste is top notch. Easy to accommodate allergies. Nice outdoor seating area with live music most evenings. People are nice!“
“Aloha Paradise Cafe was an absolute bright spot on Christmas Day. Not only were they open (which we were so thankful for!), but the staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely sweet!exactly the al
The smoothies were fresh, delicious, and made with so much care - perfectly refreshing and just what we needed. You could really feel the warmth and generosity behind the counter, especially on a holiday.
Thank you to the team for showing up, spreading joy, and making our Christmas feel extra special. We’ll absolutely be back 💛🌴“

“We stopped here for coffee on our trip. I had a delicious Americano with a little macnut flavor. We also got the sourdough banana bread and I’m not exaggerating when I say that it might actually be the best banana bread I’ve ever had in my life. Do yourself a favor and order it! 🍌🍞
There is an outdoor seating in a beautiful garden space, but it was a drizzly morning and most people were taking their coffee to go. It seems to be a popular with locals — the few people we chatted with in line live in the area. There was a steady stream of people; I’d call it busy but not crowded and the barista served us all at a steady paced that felt efficient. He acknowledged everyone as they walked up and didn’t seem too bothered when I asked a couple questions about the plants in the seating area. I was careful to only ask two questions since he was busy and I can talk a lot! 😅
Overall the atmosphere felt friendly and relaxed and I wish I’d had an opportunity to come back during my trip.“

“We had the cold brew float and it was the best coffee we have found on Kauai!!! We love it as much as our favorite Dutch Bros drink!! Had it 3 days while on Kauai!“

“Great place to try authentic Indian food! I ordered the coconut shrimp curry, and it was really delicious, nicely spiced and full of flavor. I got it medium, and honestly, it was still pretty spicy. I usually eat and enjoy spicy food, but this had some serious heat, so I probably wouldn’t recommend going “hot” unless you’re very confident.
The service and atmosphere were both on point. Even though it was busy, our order came out pretty quickly, which was impresive.
Highly recommend!“

“Hands down our favorite shave ice, full stop!
Service is always fantastic, flavor pours are full, the haupia covers everything and permeates through. The ice cream is always soft, and mixes with the flavors and ice for a creamy delicious finish with all flavors mixed perfectly. JoJo’s style (with mac nut) more than makes up for the loss of mac nut ice cream from the menu.
When we stay on the North Shore, we stop here at least once a day, sometimes more. When we stay on the South Shore, we still come up here for the best JoJo’s.“

“Yummy! This was an absolutely pleasant surprise. I found them because their Ahi Wrap was featured on Food Network's: The Best Thing I Ever Ate. Admittedly, there were issues with our order with the food taking longer than normal, so we were offered a container of poke to say sorry! The fish was so fresh and delicious. I chose the fresh catch plate (Ono) and the dipping sauces that came with it were delicious, my mouth is STILL watering! Seating is limited outdoors, but definitely still warrants a stop. Parking is plentiful in the front and back of this shopping mall.“

“BBQ mixed plate & Hawaii Combo. Great prices. The Hawaii meat was awesome but the meat from the BBQ plate was tough and sinewy. Flavor overall was good but maybe a bit on the salty side. Kinda reminds me of the restaurant Mixed Plate that used to be in Hanalei. Unfortunately, we couldnt eat the salad. They put ranch on it. Our bad for not asking ahead of time. The kalua pork is good. The lau lau is melt in your mouth tender. Its good but not amazing. One combo plate can easily feed two adults.“

“This place is amazing! I had a chai latte which was spicy, flavorful and delicious. I loved that the to go cup tops are made of a biodegradable cardboard and they have nice water cups and cool merch. Too bad I only discovered it on the last day of my trip.“

“My husband and I have been eating our way through the menu and haven't had a bad meal ever! It's my favorite place to eat on the island. My personal favorites are the deep fried mac n cheese or fries poutine appetizers, the duck or lamb dinners and always the cheesecake with bacon toffee or chocolate pudding. Drinks are fantastic and I love the infused smoked effects that can be added or the sweet martini drink on the dessert menu that tastes like drinking a snickerdoodle cookie. They have the biggest selection of whiskey, bourbon, scotch and rye around. A definate must try! It's truly the BOMB! ❤“

“My husband and I love Thai food. My kids haven’t had much, but they’re not picky eaters. We came here and Hanalei Burger and Nick’s were closed. So we tried Thai Elephant. The food was fast and fresh. We ordered the red chicken combo and the shrimp pad Thai. Not the best Thai we’ve ever had. I don’t think people are coming to Hanalei Burger or Nick’s for the best burger ever, but Thai Elephant was better than expected, hit the spot, and we would definitely eat here again. My family, including the kids, ate every last bite.“

“Great breakfast stop in Hanalei. I had a fresh fruit/granola bowl with banana, strawberries, and blueberries, and it was bright, refreshing, and filling without being too heavy. Casual outdoor vibe, good coffee/breakfast energy, and an easy recommendation before a beach day or walking around town. Would absolutely come back.“

“Delicious poke. VERY expensive.
The poke here is outstanding. Very fresh and flavorful and their flavor choices are awesome. Love the toppings too. But the portion is incredibly small for the price so we probably will not return. There is poke just as good for more affordable at other places!
Outdoor only seating on a small patio but we didn’t have trouble finding a table.“

“Their authentic Japanese ramen bowls are perfectly seasoned and flavorful. We had the ramen with pork belly and they were delicious. They have lots of fun and yummy appetizers, our favorites were the bao buns and the brussel sprouts. The atmosphere is great and I highly recommend a reservation because the wait can be quite long.“

“The food is exactly what you expect from L&L. Solid barbecue, done well, and just as good as any other L&L you’ve been to. They do run a more limited, modified menu here, though.
That said, the location right in the center of Hanalei makes it worth the stop. Sitting there, hanging out, and just watching the flow of people through town is part of the experience.
If you’re specifically looking for the full L&L menu, you’d probably be better off heading back to Kapaa where there are a couple of locations. But if you’re in Hanalei and want good barbecue in the middle of one of the best little towns on the island, it’s a great place to grab a bite.“

“Killer views and food. If you experience some light showers, be sure to look over to the bay to catch a brief, yet beautiful rainbow! 🌈 Beware of the chickens, we saw 2 people mildly attacked while walking to sit with their açaí bowls😂😬.“
