The ice is fine, almost like a slushy. Beneath the ice is a scoop of ice cream that enhances the flavor of the syrup. Every bite is refreshing and is a solid desert.

I was adamant to try this place because surely it couldn’t be good. However, I was thoroughly surprised and not disappointed. If I am craving a sweet desert or snack, I would stop here again.“

I chose the fresh catch plate (Ono) and the dipping sauces that came with it were delicious, my mouth is STILL watering! Seating is limited outdoors, but definitely still warrants a stop. Parking is plentiful in the front and back of this shopping mall.“

The short ribs were exactly what I wanted and the staff was patient even though we came close to closing time. Would definitely recommend, and I might have to go again before leaving Kauai!“

“hands down the best coffee shop on the north shore and i would even say across the island. if you care about nourishing your body with top quality and intentionally sourced ingredients, this is it. i mean c’mon they offer fresh coconut milk to add in your drinks and it IS worth the up charge. i am personally obsessed w their mintcha chip matcha. and their avo toast is life giving. the owner jackson makes it a priority to offer and support local businesses which is so important for the community, as community is everything on this little rock. “My husband and I have been eating our way through the menu and haven't had a bad meal ever! It's my favorite place to eat on the island. My personal favorites are the deep fried mac n cheese or fries poutine appetizers, the duck or lamb dinners and always the cheesecake with bacon toffee or chocolate pudding. Drinks are fantastic and I love the infused smoked effects that can be added or the sweet martini drink on the dessert menu that tastes like drinking a snickerdoodle cookie. They have the biggest selection of whiskey, bourbon, scotch and rye around. A definate must try! It's truly the BOMB! ❤“

“Delicious food! We got the pad Thai to share and it was really good. If you’re craving authentic Thai food, this is a great, quick option.

Another bonus is that it’s located next to several other food trucks, so it’s easy to grab different kinds of food if everyone in your group wants something different. Overall, a good stop if you’re in the area!“

“Some of the best poke that I had on Kauai. Their prices are a bit high but the actual poke quality is pretty good. I thought the flavor and texture of the poke was great. The portion sizes are also a little small but overall very good poke.“

We grabbed some delicious coffee and a quick pastry from the counter, and both were excellent. Everything tasted fresh and was the perfect pick-me-up.

“Their authentic Japanese ramen bowls are perfectly seasoned and flavorful. We had the ramen with pork belly and they were delicious. They have lots of fun and yummy appetizers, our favorites were the bao buns and the brussel sprouts. The atmosphere is great and I highly recommend a reservation because the wait can be quite long.“

“The food is exactly what you expect from L&L. Solid barbecue, done well, and just as good as any other L&L you’ve been to. They do run a more limited, modified menu here, though.

That said, the location right in the center of Hanalei makes it worth the stop. Sitting there, hanging out, and just watching the flow of people through town is part of the experience.

If you’re specifically looking for the full L&L menu, you’d probably be better off heading back to Kapaa where there are a couple of locations. But if you’re in Hanalei and want good barbecue in the middle of one of the best little towns on the island, it’s a great place to grab a bite.“

We love the open air seating and all the chickens running around. We would recommend you try it! We had the orange chicken and drunken noodles. Big portions and the food was hot and fresh.“
