“Amazing views, delicious, clean food and relaxing atmosphere. We came twice and when it was busy, we had to wait for parking but not long. My kids have allergies and they were able to look up ingredients easily and were so kind about it. My kids liked that they had keiki bowls so they didn’t have to share one haha. They enjoyed having their own. We will definitely be back on future trips!”

“Incredible food and good portions at a great price. I had the shrimp stir fry and it was cooked perfectly. Tons of fresh, crisp vegetables with just the right about of flavor. We also got the Seared Ahi plate and a Cheeseburger and they were delicious as well. Best Mac salad that I have had in Kauai this trip. We will definitely be coming back before we leave town!”

“Great place for saved ice on the island of Kauai. The service was amazing. These ladies are so nice and patient. Tried the coconut cream on top which I’ve never had before. It was shaved ice and it was really good. Stop by and try out this local small business and get some refreshing saved ice.”

“The bad reviews made me nervous but are here 2x bc the food was so good, and wish we could have another meal before leaving. The ahi nachos is a banger! Everything else was great too (from the tacos down to even the chicken fingers, and fruit), much better than your usual pool side restaurant along with the stunning views of beach/ocean. Food also came out reasonably quickly.”

“The coffee here was yummy! The service was a bit slow, but still good. The staff was friendly and gave recommendations. The view was beautiful and the vibes were relaxing. It is within a resort so it is very fancy and a little corporate looking with the design, but VERY well done. Good option for coffee!”

“This is what I think of when I think of a local restaurant. Our server had drink recommendations, food recommendations and gave us an little know path that led to an uncrowded beach to watch the sunset. Food was delicious. The crust was amazing. Drinks were absolutely delicious. We had the server bring us his favorite drink and it was delicious, called it a Skinny Pina. Made with a local coconut rum. Will absolutely be coming back! Also Shaka Mai Thais are are must!”

“We LOVE Lapperts. Always go multiple times when we are in Kauai. The ice cream is fresh, light and scrumptious. My dad loves the mint chocolate chip and I love the ne ne. It has everything but the kitchen sink in it!”

“We are here and as soon as we walked on the door they staff was very friendly. It was around 8 pm -‘d not very busy. We got seated right away and order very quickly. The pizza and fettuccine Alfredo were both amazing. It was big portions and the service was quick.”

“There's not a whole lot of choices on the North Shore but this tapas restaurant is one of the best places to eat on the entire Island. Very pricey but expected for Kauai and this level of cuisine.

Everything we tried was excellent and I don't doubt the entire menu is a hit as this kitchen has got skills.

Note that the inside with all the hard surfaces is one of the loudest restaurants I've been in in recent memory. The tables on the Veranda are a lot quieter and I prefer the open air atmosphere.

Only reason to skip this place is if a water view is a must. The territorial mountain view from some tables is still great.

I'm skipping food photos this time as they don't give you taste, smell or feel which are 3 of the 4 senses in eating which a photo is worthless for.”

“Amazing!!! Get the banana bread if it’s still there. They sell out early. Chai is spicy and so yummy! Golden milk with oat and espresso also great. Friendly service and beautiful atmosphere.”

“The kalua pork mole burrito is one of the best things I ate on Kauai. The mole has 22 ingredients, and it is soooo good. Inside, it's perfectly layered with egg, potato, and kalua pork, then the whole thing is smothered in mole. It's also huge. It's a little tucked away: you walk through the mini golf reception area to get to it, in an Airstream. I believe the mole burrito is weekends only (or maybe just Saturdays), so plan around it. Absolutely worth it, and convenient to go to the Saturday farmers market at the same time!”

“Tried surfing for the first time in Hanalei. Came back pretty dehydrated. These shaved ices were so bomb dude, like the best. Seriously tho, out of all the delicious food on the island, these were my fave. The macadamia and mochi really brings it all together. Braxton and his team helped me out and they were friendly and fast at their job. Keep up the good work! 🤙🏽”
