I visited about four times during a nearly month long visit to Anahola. Service was friendly and food top notch. I mostly got the cheese board. The price seemed high but comparing it to similar items on the east coast, the price was comparable considering the differences between east coast and Hawaii prices. Food is very good, especially the butterfish. Lots of people ordering the pizza flatbread. Looked good too but didn’t try it. Very small place and can be loud; must have reservation. Overall was ok but not worth 5 stars.
If you ever stay on Kaua’i north shore, this tiny place in Kīlauea is a must. It is located in the middle of the small town on Keneke Street. The restaurant only has a half dozen or so tables, and reservations are advised. The core staff of three are all long term, and provide excellent service and fabulous food. This cute quaint wine bar in a shopping center has an impressive wine list and great food options. Guests love the house special flatbread, the delicious Kalua Pork and Short Rib lunch plate with brown garlic sauce, and the passion fruit cheesecake. The service is top-notch, fast, and very sweet.
