“The kalua pork mole burrito is one of the best things I ate on Kauai. The mole has 22 ingredients, and it is soooo good. Inside, it's perfectly layered with egg, potato, and kalua pork, then the whole thing is smothered in mole. It's also huge. It's a little tucked away: you walk through the mini golf reception area to get to it, in an Airstream. I believe the mole burrito is weekends only (or maybe just Saturdays), so plan around it. Absolutely worth it, and convenient to go to the Saturday farmers market at the same time!“

“I visited about four times during a nearly month long visit to Anahola. Service was friendly and food top notch. I mostly got the cheese board. The price seemed high but comparing it to similar items on the east coast, the price was comparable considering the differences between east coast and Hawaii prices. The board had three good quality cheeses, salami, prosciutto, fresh berries, Kalamata olives, bread and other accompaniments. I usually sat at the bar and service was very friendly.“

Pomai was our cook and cashier. He is so acommodating. He listened to my allergy concerns and went all out to finding out if I can eat it. I ended up getting Chicken Katsu and it was the most delicious Katsu I ever tasted. It was juicy, no egg batter, since I got egg allergy. It tasted so ono...I do not need to go anywhere for great food and it is close to home here in Volcano. These guys have gotten a bad rap, but they work really hard despite the rush they have.
