“A true Neopolitan pizza. I was blown away at how delicious their pizza was. I got the margarita and it was perfectly light, crisp, and balanced. Owners were also super friendly and thoughtful. Would highly recommend to anyone in the mood for great pizza.“
“My last night at the island was spent at Huggo’s with friends. The view was spectacular!!! The food you ask? Amazing!!! Our waitress was very attentive. We had a party of 7, and there was a stretch of time between everyone getting their meals, but they made up for it with free dessert! Definitely high on my list next time I return!“
“Good pizza easy to get to with parking available. We normally go to the Black Rock Pizza in Captain Cook, and it is some of the best pizza I have found on the island. I saw that they opened up in Kailua-Kona right off Ali'i, so we gave it a try. The pizza is very good, not at all disappointing. I do favor the Captain Cook location maybe because of the ambiance and the view. I am not a big beer drinker but Captain Cook offers beer, wine and hard liquor whole currently the Kailua'Koba location does not offer alcohol. But the pizza is very good. The staff and service is great. They are on top of your need while there.“
“Resident's Beach House offers a memorable and fun experience with its delicious food, service, and ambiance. My staff provides exceptional service, making me comfortable and a pleasant dining experience from beginning to end. The pizzas were cooked well and boasted a perfect balance of flavors. Their menu offers something for everyone, whether you prefer classic combinations or unique creations. YUM!“
“Excellent coffee and latte, excellent smoothie, excellent paninis. The pickles on the side were delicious. A little expensive, but pretty comparable pricing to everything else in Kona. Other places we ate were just as expensive and a little disappointing, Hungry Honu was not at all disappointing. Among all three sandwich and drink selections in our party, all were excellent.“
“The time is 7:30 PM, and I lay in bed, gazing endlessly through my government propaganda social media content, when I stumble upon a 13 second advertisement for Dominos Pizza.Dominos. A legendary household name. You’ve been there for all my house parties, you’ve been there for all my lonely nights, and many occurrences in between. But sadly, after moving from central Kona to about 15 minutes north, you can only be there for me for pickup. So I lay here, reminiscing the days where Dominos could deliver to my door a fresh pizza (cheese, black olive and ham as a personal preference). Drooling over the mere thought of a chicken Alfredo in a bread bowl. How can I even explain my sadness in words. How can this breakup even be described? It’s not you, it’s me? It can’t be me, I love you dearly Dominos. I guess it’s you. You need to deliver to people 4 minutes closer than I am. I guess I have no choice but to respect your wishes, as hurtful as they are.You will always have my love, and I miss you - so much.“
“Kai is definitely one of my top places to lunch . The best and closest ocean view, the pizza is the best, their service is always good, parking is easy across the way! And most importantly I feel that they are one of not the most integrity driven food options on alii drive , while other establishments sometimes rest on a steady new supply of tourists and take advantage… I’ll be back soon“
