“I have had a lot of pizza as it is one of my favorite foods. I even have my own pizza oven I cook my own. This is easily in my top 3 pizzas of all time. The base was amazing with good leoparding on the bottom. The crust had some great crispy crust. They are just 🤌🏼! I got the Kauai Beef Short Rib, and the toppings were just spectacular! Plus either the owner or one of the cooks has perfect music tone as well. Seriously cannot recommend this place enough!”

“I visited about four times during a nearly month long visit to Anahola. Service was friendly and food top notch. I mostly got the cheese board. The price seemed high but comparing it to similar items on the east coast, the price was comparable considering the differences between east coast and Hawaii prices. The board had three good quality cheeses, salami, prosciutto, fresh berries, Kalamata olives, bread and other accompaniments. I usually sat at the bar and service was very friendly.”

“BBQ mixed plate & Hawaii Combo. Great prices. The Hawaii meat was awesome but the meat from the BBQ plate was tough and sinewy. Flavor overall was good but maybe a bit on the salty side. Kinda reminds me of the restaurant Mixed Plate that used to be in Hanalei. Unfortunately, we couldnt eat the salad. They put ranch on it. Our bad for not asking ahead of time. The kalua pork is good. The lau lau is melt in your mouth tender. Its good but not amazing. One combo plate can easily feed two adults.”

“Stopped in to pick up some ground coffee and arrived just as they were closing. They were kind enough to let me get a bag quick before closing up for the day. Aloha spirit! Will be back next time we are on the island.”

“This French toast and the Portuguese sausage breakfast my wife got were amazing. Side of bacon was the best smoked maple bacon I've ever had, not too smokey but just enough. The French toast though. First it has like this coconut custard type stuff on top which is absolutely the best thing that's ever touched my taste buds. And pair that with the French toast, ooh man we got a problem. I want to eat it every day. Every. Day. I couldn't even take a good picture because I ate the entire thing sitting in front of the shop because I got it to go and just ate the whole thing. Like the sign says, takes about 15 minutes to make and it was worth it.
Update- we went back the next day and got the same thing. Amazing. And my wife took better photos. Coffee medium roast is delicious.”

“Yummy! This was an absolutely pleasant surprise. I found them because their Ahi Wrap was featured on Food Network's: The Best Thing I Ever Ate. Admittedly, there were issues with our order with the food taking longer than normal, so we were offered a container of poke to say sorry! The fish was so fresh and delicious. I chose the fresh catch plate (Ono) and the dipping sauces that came with it were delicious, my mouth is STILL watering! Seating is limited outdoors, but definitely still warrants a stop. Parking is plentiful in the front and back of this shopping mall.”

“My husband and I have been eating our way through the menu and haven't had a bad meal ever! It's my favorite place to eat on the island. My personal favorites are the deep fried mac n cheese or fries poutine appetizers, the duck or lamb dinners and always the cheesecake with bacon toffee or chocolate pudding. Drinks are fantastic and I love the infused smoked effects that can be added or the sweet martini drink on the dessert menu that tastes like drinking a snickerdoodle cookie. They have the biggest selection of whiskey, bourbon, scotch and rye around. A definate must try! It's truly the BOMB! ❤”

“Sushi was ono and fresh! Girls working were friendly and nice as well. Located in the Kong Lung Historic market center alongside some other restaurants and stores. Outdoor seating is available as well. Cute outdoor space with bits of history/information to kill time while you wait. Only thing is I wish they provided some soy sauce for the sushi but they provide ginger and wasabi.”

“This place was highly recommended by my patient that was part of a Facebook Group that posted about this place a lot and they were featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. It was good and the service was fantastic, but not so good that we made a second stop on our trip. Their service was quick too, so it's a good stop if you only have a short time to eat! Their menu includes: Truffle Burger, Veggie Burger, Chicken Katsu Sandwich, Kenji Burger (teriyaki, ponzu aioli, caramelized onions, cheddar cheese, tomato & arugula), Misoyaki Fish Sandwich, Salads, Sushi Burritos & Bowls (loco moco, chicken katsu, misoyaki fish, and poke). There are 2 locations on the island”
“It is a healing garden rather than Farmacy. Astonishing views and abundant vegetation makes you forget you are on the Earth. Still you realized that you are not in heaven with the few stray mosquitos determined to keep the cycle of life running.
The owner of the place looks like he discovered the elixir of the eternal youth. He might actually did it, given that the products sold here are pretty good. The cream healed my wounds from crashing against the reef pretty fast. I would even eat it (all pure nature based with incredible aroma), if not the price paid for it.”

“If you’re looking for authentic Thai, look no further than Tuk Tuk Thai. Their Chicken Green Curry is a must-try—the curry is fragrant, the portion is very generous, and they don't skimp on the herbs. The basil was fresh and added such a wonderful brightness to the meal. The dish came with eggplant, zucchini, peas and green beans. My favorite spot in town!”

“Come here immediately after hiking for the biggest sandwich you can fathom. Extremely well made, family owned, and a relaxing outdoor dining experience. We got there late so there weren’t too many bread choices, but it didn’t matter. If you like a nice lunch sandwiches and a cold drink, this should be your stop after visiting the park.”
“Located just a few minutes from Volcano National Park, Big Island Tea is a wonderful side trip on your Big Island adventure. Our hosts, Eliah and Cam, have a wonderful food forest that's easy to get to and they are very knowledgable and hospitable. First, we took an easy walking tour of their five acre property that features not only tea plants but also coffee, a bamboo grotto and a wide assortment of other tropical plants. We were accompanied by their ball-fetching dogs and shown their tea processing house before sitting down to a tea-tasting on the lanai. While I'm not much of a tea lover, my friends were in heaven and I had a delightful time learning about different kinds of tea and the process of curing it. I left feeling like we had made some new friends and will be taking all of our visitors there for a unique and wonderful experience.”

“The night of the 42nd volcano eruption, we enjoyed a front window seat to the massive lava fountains! Created a great backdrop to a great meal. The restaurant is inside the very old classic Volcano Lodge; complete with wood fireplace. Staying in the lodge made it simple to have meals; we ate at the Rim two nights, one night at the more casual Lodge restaurant Uncle Georges Lounge. All meals were prepared very well.
For the first meal, we ordered a couple of Mai Tais that were nicely flavorful. For appetizers, I can recommend the Furikake Seared Ahi; gently seared with very flavorful colorful condiments. Plus, the portion was relatively generous as well.
The chef's entree special was an amazing local fish prepared attractively and tasting marvelous.
For our second night, the volcano was no longer erupting and the crowds of watchers had left so the meal was far less hectic. Did a less extravagant meal of Big Island Stuffed Chicken (great stuffing of Feta cheese and greens!) and it was a great choice. Straying from fish my partner went with the perfectly grilled 12 oz Hawaiian beef ribeye. Finished up with a fun crème brûlée with lots of burnt sugar!.
Not a restaurant to drive 1-2 hours to, but if you find yourself on the mountain, well-worth stopping for a great meal here. but try to get there when the volcano isn't erupting or you'll be trampled, pushed, and find nowhere to park.”

“We stopped here for coffee on our trip. I had a delicious Americano with a little macnut flavor. We also got the sourdough banana bread and I’m not exaggerating when I say that it might actually be the best banana bread I’ve ever had in my life. Do yourself a favor and order it! 🍌🍞
There is an outdoor seating in a beautiful garden space, but it was a drizzly morning and most people were taking their coffee to go. It seems to be a popular with locals — the few people we chatted with in line live in the area. There was a steady stream of people; I’d call it busy but not crowded and the barista served us all at a steady paced that felt efficient. He acknowledged everyone as they walked up and didn’t seem too bothered when I asked a couple questions about the plants in the seating area. I was careful to only ask two questions since he was busy and I can talk a lot! 😅
Overall the atmosphere felt friendly and relaxed and I wish I’d had an opportunity to come back during my trip.”
