“Stop here, you won't be disappointed. Tacos made fresh to order, generous meat portions, excellent service. The Birria tacos on Tuesdays are PHENOMENAL. The people who run this cart are lovely, we enjoyed chatting as we finished up our food. So, so glad we stopped here!!”

“Joining everyone else who rated this food truck stop a 5 in Pahoa. Service is friendly and food is made fresh for every order. To us, that's special and makes the 20 minutes wait time worthwhile. We ordered crispy pata, a delicious deep fried pork hock and a must have if you stop here. It takes about 20 minutes to make but boy, this is absolutely great tasting! We spent the time browsing at a fresh produce store and just enjoying the breeze and people watching. Portion of the crispy pata is ginormous at $14 per pound! We also ordered lumpia $8 for 8 pcs and pancit with roasted pork for $17 which is reasonable.

Do note that Leo's is open only on Fridays and Saturdays but this is a not to be missed stop for a great value meal when in Pahoa. Mahalo and maraming salamat po!”

“This is a gem of a restaurant, offering a fusion of Southeast Asian specialties. If you want to grab something fresh and delicious, but don't have time to wait, their lunch special is for you! From 9:30 am to 3:00 pm, you get your choice of rice or one of two types of noodles plus 1, 2 or 3 other items from the buffet. I got chow mein noodles plus the Tofu Eggplant. It came to $12.95, which is very reasonable for Hawaii and was quite filling. Definitely high quality ingredients. The eggplant was sweet and tender, the tofu was well prepared, and the noodles were fresh. The sauce was full of umami flavor with just a touch of heat. Perfect! You can sit inside a bright, inviting dining room or outside at a table in the shade and cool breeze. The young lady that waited on me was very sweet and helpful. Highly recommend!”

“Food is affordable, yummy, and fast.! Love this pizza stop. Great for in the way home or going into town. A little hard getting off the highway while coming into town when there's traffic. But totally worth the turn around , would be nice if there was a nice shady spot near by to park after drive thru.”

“Whenever we visit Hawai'i, it's always the Big Island. Whenever we visit the Big Island, we always stay in Keaau. Whenever we stay in Keaau, we have to go to the Coffee Bean. Awesome drinks, super consistent with highly underrated sandwiches. Breakfast or lunch sandwiches, they are always tasty and well put together. Live this place!”

“you go up to the counter and order it and you eat outside. Or take it to go. But the saimin was good. Not traditional but Teriyaki beef but the broth was delicious.”

“We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary and the dining experience was outstanding! The food was flavorful, delicious and looked like a piece of art. The live music added to the fine dining experience. To top off the evening the desserts were rich and yummy-but the "Wow" factor was the coffee we ordered served in a french press coffee maker! We will be back and bring our friends and family!”

“Too good to be true, even compare to the Vietnamese restaurant in San Jose(largest Vietnamese population in US). It's no longer a food truck but you can dine in in the restaurant. Everything we ordered is excellent.”

Amazing price...fed my family of 4 for just under $40. That's unheard of now adays, right?
I tried the poke nachos and the were amazing! The wonton chips were crispy and the poke was SO ono.
Plus the ladies behind the counter were so welcoming.
Definitely recommend and we will be back again.”
