“A Must-Visit for Authentic Kauai Coffee and TreatsThis cafe is the best place to grab authentic Kauai coffee. The staff is wonderful and adds to the welcoming atmosphere. Don't miss out on their white chocolate macadamia nut cookie - it's absolutely delicious. A perfect spot for coffee lovers and anyone looking for a tasty treat.“
“Really good shave ice. The strawberry syrup is more like a nectar, giving a bold flavor. Other fruits are prepared as needed, again allowing for maximum flavor. Portions are very generous and easily shared by two people. Good enough that we went twice while on the island. This is not a snow cone!!! It’s shave ice!Tables could’ve used a wipe down, but they’re outside communal tables shared with a couple other nearby shops, so hard to say whose responsibility that is. And wasn’t bad enough to deter our return for a repeat visit.“
“Yum! Came here a few times during our trip for Dole Whip. They have other dole whip flavors as well, and allow you to stack them if you're looking to try different flavors. A few tables indoors and outside as well. Located in the newer plaza in Old Town Koloa.“
“Lappert's is a great local chain of ice cream shops in Hawaii. They have homemade flavors you will not find anywhere else. Plus, it is relatively inexpensive compared to most Hawaiian fare. We went to the Koloa Landing Lappert's and it was fantastic.“
“The ice cream here is really good. It's creamy with a good texture and just tastes great. The shave ice is solid. A couple of the syrup flavors aren't as good as other shops on the island but most of them are good. The staff is friendly and funny. There's lots of covered seating outside the shop which makes it a nice spot to relax and get out of the sun. Definitely a good spot to try!“
“O M G. Am I dreaming? Dole Whip is my all-time favorite sweet treat and when I heard about Pineapple in Paradise, I knew I had to try it. Luckily the van was stopped up in Princeville and close by. I got the pineapple dole whip in a pineapple cake cone and it exceeded my expectations. If you have ever been to Disneyland, you know the Dole Whip consistency, color, and flavor is just magical. However, this one topped Disneyland's. First, the whip wasn't hollow inside. The soft serve was packed in the perfect swirl. When I got down to the cake cone, it was the most delicious pound cake tasting cone I've ever eaten. The cake was moist and so unique. Everything about this was outstanding and I cannot recommend this spot enough. If you're in Kaua'i, you need to find this truck's location, and try it for yourself.“
“I really love this shave ice place. I've been to this location a few times and it's always the best, especially after walking around town. My boyfriend and I shared a large shave ice with pineapple, lychee and ube flavors. Service is always quick and friendly. We sat out on the barstools in the area right outside the shave ice stand to enjoy our little treat. The ube flavoring was rich and turned our teeth and mouths purple. My favorite flavor was the pineapple though. I highly recommend this place if you're in town.“
“We stopped in after an early dinner on our first night in Lihue. This place was small and a bit hard to find on the back side of a strip mall, but once we did, it was great. We had the shave ice combo that included mac nut ice cream and pineapple in the core, melon and coconut syrups, and sweetened condensed milk drizzled on the top. It was great and two of us easily split it.“
“A great little ice cream shop with delicious vegan options. While sorbet is not particularly appealing when what you want is ice cream, the sorbetto here is close enough to vegan ice cream that those who can’t eat dairy can have something as great as those who can. Both ice cream and sorbetto had tons of options and great toppings.“
