“Check into the hotel in the evening and was looking to grab some dinner before bed. The other restaurants all required reservation and this place took walk-ins. They have live music/entertainment every night til about 9pm. We were seated outside and had good service. Server was friendly and checked in regularly. We ordered a Truffle Burger, Ahi Poke, Keiki Pasta with red sauce and 2 cocktails (Sea Dragon and an Old Fashioned). Food was good, no complaints. The drinks were below average, tasted more watered down and lacked flavor. Would return.“
“This is my favorite sushi spot on the island. Seriously so delicious, beautifully prepared, and service goes above and beyond. The woman taking orders is always so enthusiastic, happy, and sweet. She always makes me smile. And the sushi is fantastic. This is my go to spot when I’m in town. I love to stop here for lunch between running errands. “Visited for a day and had a whirlwind of a time. Ended up our escapade with a nice dinner at Kiibo. Although this was my first (and certainly not my last) time here, we were met with hospitable staff and the warmest aloha. As many have mentioned, this restaurant is a staple for the local community and continues to shine on through its' refresh. We shared the agedashi tofu and mochi to start. I ended up getting the agedashi chicken katsu with some shrimp tempura on the side. All of the dishes left my stomach grinning immensely. The flavors here are quite authentic and it was giving motherland realness with the decor and ambiance. Pricing is as expected for the quality of flavor and offerings, especially coming out of the pandemic. The nice thing is that they also offer take out for those who want to experience the good flavors to-go. However--it is strongly recommended to dine in to experience the food in real time. “A local favorite and family-owned business. One of the few places in Lihue that's open late. Visiting relatives always make time to dine here. Seating is first come first serve. Cash only. You can call in to go orders but it isn't made until you get there. Special saimin and beef skewer finished with a tart but light lilikoi chiffon pie is what I usually order. Chicken skewers can sometimes be undercooked. Help yourself to hot mustard, soy sauce, and chili pepper water vinegar condiments on the table. Wipe down your utensils before eating. They also serve manapua! Parking lot is full on second Saturday nights because of the Lihue Night Market until 8:30. There is no waiting room or benches, prepare to have somebody stand in line down the ramp when it's busy. There is a unisex restroom inside. I believe they are closed on September when the whole staff is on vacation.“
“I've always loved Po's. They are under new ownership now. I went there the other day and the food still tastes the same super delicious and everyone there is so nice. They also have Spam Musubis and the flavor is sooooooo good. Not your traditional just shoyu rice nori and spam but it has a good flavor to it. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone.“
“I didn’t actually have the poke but probably should have. Their mixed plate was kind of mid, but my friend’s poke looked amazing. It’s in a bit of a strange location, being in the middle of a golf course, but it was speedy — not worth $21 though I will say.“
