We ate there once and then they catered a friend's birthday party. It was so bad both times it was unbelievable. Simply awful Mexican food.

Ordered a carnitas plate and fish burrito over phone. Guy barelycould hear over the phone nor speak conversational English. Grabbed my bag to go after paying $33 and only the carnitas plate in there, no burrito. Called back questioning my order. They hung up the phone while still not able to speak English. I even tied in words of plato and pescado to no avail. Wish I could get my tip back

I wasn't expecting to see the killer views offered at the kalaheo location. Next time I'll take the time to eat in house. I ordered the food when I got there, so I had a few minutes to soak it in. I had the fish tacos, my wife had the carnitas tacos the two boys had a carnitas burro and a kids bean and cheese burrito. It was quiet for about 5 minutes because that's how long it took us to eat. The sauces are good, the shells are fresh and the portions are good. I enjoyed the beans and rice, nothing special but reminded me of earlier days, and I ate it all. Go there eat, enjoy the view and take a walk while you're up there. Beautiful grounds, good food.

We arrived at 4:15. They close at 5, but stop taking orders at 4:30, but actually close early at 4:15. It all a big joke. So if you actually want to eat. AVOID this place.

Pretty cool spot. They have breakfast. Really awesome view. The golf course said it's in even has a lava rock garden and dog hiking trails.

I would recommend the carne asada fries. Quite delicious.... their salsa was a tad spicy but I love spicy!
