This little food truck makes great shrimp dishes! This area has few sit-down restaurants, but there are quite a few food trucks, and Aloha Shrimp was one our favorites. I especially loved the Spicy Lemon Garlic Shrimp. Check it out!
Go for the best shrimp experience. Ambience is not their thing, but the number 1,3 & 5 are awesome shrimp dishes. Waited less than 5 minutes, ate on a wooden bench with disposable plate and fork and frankly I will be going back again, and again. I don’t often review, but you guys definitely deserve the 5 stars.
Great food! Always delicious love the garlic shrimp owner's are warm & friendly. IMHO, they have Best Shrimp truck in Hawaii
After spending multiple days visiting the north shore and indulging a variety of food trucks located along the highway, Aloha Shrimp was by far the best shrimp truck of the bunch! The truck is a little bit of a drive to get down to in Hauula and is right off the highway in a gravel lot, but well worth the trip. The staff is extremely friendly, seems to be a family working the truck/kitchen. We got spicy, garlic, lemon shrimp plates, and the chicken katsu, all of which were excellent (not as many shrimp provided compared to some of the others, but the flavor & quality was the best here). Prices were affordable and in line with most of the other shrimp trucks. We stopped by at around 7 PM and there was only one other party there, so our food was turned out pretty quickly. I would 100% go back and recommend them to anyone without hesitation!
The garlic shrimp were crazy good. I’m Going to be craving them forever!! We stopped there on our way down the north shore and I’m so glad we did! Amazingly good!
This is absolutely the Best Lemon Garlic Shrimp I have ever eaten ! The Shrimp was definitely Fresh and the sauce on the rice was unbelievable !
Firstly I don't eat shrimp but my wife would live on it if she could! We stopped here on a whim after a visit to Kualoa and my wife spent the rest of our holiday comparing her shrimp meals to this spot (nobody else came close by the way!).
Best shrimp I have ever had. Ever. I had the garlic and my husband had the garlic/lemon spicy shrimp and we both agreed it was probably the best meal we have had so far on the island!
This was the best shrimp truck we visited on Oahu! Much better than Giovanni's! The.spicy garlic shrimp was amazing!!!
Delicious large shrimp and lots of it. We felt it was reasonably priced for lunch. Very friendly staff who remembered us the next day (as we went back for round two). And the rice — best ever — I don’t know how they do it.

This was our first taste on the North Shore and we were impressed! The shrimp we ordered was HUGE! The four of us ordered several kinds and each was wonderful! The garlic ones were not too overpowered - they were seasoned just right. The buttery ones were divine. The dish includes rice, gravy, a piece of pineapple and come corn. The sides pale in comparison, especially the corn, but the shrimp definitely stands out as worthy to pull over for. The questions below ask about employees being fully vaccinated and floors marked - it's a food truck with tables set up. I believe it's a couple who work together to make the food.
We did a taste test with Aloha Shrimp and Giovannis and this was definitely the yummier choice! And it was less touristy with a much shorter line. Definitely recommend!
Been on the east side of Oahu for the last five days. We have eaten here four of those days. I’d probably eat here everyday for the rest of my life if I could. Garlic lemon shrimp is the best thing I’ve eaten on Oahu, besides the chocolate pie at Ted’s up the road. Their coconut shrimp and katsu chicken is also amazing. We tried Romy’s and Giovanni’s in Kahuku: not bad, but this place has them beat. No long lines, friendly service and they have perfected the sauce on the garlic lemon shrimp. The fried coconut shrimp and chicken are heavenly. They offer a side salad and slice of pineapple with your plate. If you’re on the east side south of Laie you really need to make the effort to stop and try it. You won’t be disappointed.
So, so good! Our family stopped in and grabbed some lunch from Aloha Shrimp. I got the coconut shrimp that was cooked to perfection. My daughter loved her chicken. It was a win all of the way around!
