Really great food. Worth the wait from when you call in. I recommend calling before hand so you can go through the drive through when you got there. My boyfriend got the surf and turf meal with teriyaki beef and ahi tuna cake and I got the striped marlin lunch plate which was a special dish of the day. We really enjoyed our meals and the staff we were in contact with were very friendly :) I would 10/10 eat here again.
After our morning at the beach, we drove a bit to get to Dean's drive inn. I had the ahi cakes with Mac salad and they were really good! Kinda like a salmon burger patty but better flavor especially with the mayo sauce. Right now you have to call and it took about 15 minutes but then you pick it up at their drive thru. There was also a sign saying they are closed on the weekends so check if they are open before you go. Very good overall, definitely a nice casual lunch or dinner.
Just as a heads up have to order over the phone and pick up through drive through. Good was good had a alot of flavor. I got the ahi burger and wife got the mini ahi cake. The portions I would say are suitable for lunch. But you might want to get something bigger or more food if you're looking to have dinner. Get to have tried.
You may have seen this place on the food network my best advice, stay away, first they only take phone orders. Hood luck trying to get through. And when you do the person taking the order is short and rude. We tried the surf and turf for $17. Total disappointment. 2 tiny fish cakes, 6 small pieces of teriyaki steak, was not worth the money we paid. We when arrived the counter help at the drive thru window was rude not friendly at all. You think of Hawaii people being friendly, not this place. Skip the hype nothing but overpriced, small portions abd nothing special food and rude people here.
fine dining quality food served for take out...rack of lamb my fav
The place is only open for dry tru, no dining in because of covid. We didn't know what to order and definitely didn't make the right choice with a burguer and fish sandwich as they were ok, not great. It was my regret. I would give it a second chance to try different things if in town.
Although I haven't been here for a while, as I went there on Wednesday late afternoon, and I am glad that I did because 2 plates and a soup were definitely better than anywhere else, as prices are fair for what they accomplish, having the greatest tasting foods!
Amazing! Get the Ahi cakes you will thank me later!
Love the freshness and healthy choices.
Da best teriyaki beef! Burgers are lowkey bomb too. If you're lucky they'll have coconut shrimp on special!

Excellent food and customer service with Aloha.
Good food. Nice drive thru.
Hawaiian dishes. Good vegetarian options. Drive thru is convenient to take the food and eat it at a nearby beach.
Gourmet food on a paper plate! Good variety on the menu. My favorites are the lamb, ahi cake, and teri steak. Daily specials are available.
I tried the teriyaki steak it was sooo good. My boyfriend ordered a sandwich deluxe and the fish taste so fresh. Highly recommend !
