I think they have the best Mexican food in Kaneohe but it lacks in ambience. Wish it had the classic Mexico feel and music to go along with it. 🙏🏼

Took a friend for lunch. It’s been a while since we’ve both had Mexican cuisine. First time to Don Goyas. I had fajita burrito and my friend a shredded beef burrito. Both were excellent. Not over seasoned and very tasty. The accompanying refried beans and rice were perfectly cooked, moist and delicious. Definitely will be back.

Second time coming here and will continue!! Great Mexican food in the center of Kaneohe, super convenient parking and dine in eatery. Less restaurant feel and more like you’re visiting someone’s place, which depending on your preferences can hit or miss. But let’s be real, we’re here for the food! I had a craving for nachos and they did not disappoint. Too bad I ate ‘em up too fast for a good photo. But I also ordered a regular margarita and 👌 delicious! Perfect sour and salt ratio and so satisfying with my nachos.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. Their food is very authentic and tasty. Last couple of times, I ordered out, but today I dined in. The corn chips and salsa before the food came out were really fresh. I ordered Fajita steak salad, it was yummy! I was craving some vegetables. This just hit the spot. The server was very friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner here! I highly recommend to visit place if you like Mexican food!

A great spot for Mexican food! We had the carnitas tacos, fish tacos, garlic shrimp, and chicken enchiladas and really enjoyed it all. The chips and salsa were also excellent- the chips were warm and the salsa was chunky and flavorful. The service was friendly and super fast, and we liked the casual laid-back vibe. We’d definitely come back here again!

THANK YOU for making me the MOST DELICIOUS meatless, vegetarian enchiladas, rice, and black beans for my lunch today. OH MY it was SO YUMMY. Made my day. The veggies inside the enchilada were soooo scrumptious. Also, thank you for not over-cheesing my enchiladas, it was the perfect amount of cheese. Mostly, the thoughtfulness of the guy who helped me, I did not get your name. But when I asked for a meatless option, he was soooo supportive and made delicious suggestions of how they could prepare my food. This is in contrast to a LOT of other establishments, where I have gotten SO MUCH judgment, intolerance, and eye rolls when asking for a meatless option. At Don Goyo’s, it was all support, no judgment😊 Thank you, thank you, non-judgy, vegetarian-supporting, great flavor suggesting, friendly, smiling guy at Don Goyos😊 And thank you also to the other guy at the counter who was similary vegetarian-supportive 😊 And thank you Don Goyos chef for perfectly cooking the vegetables for the most tasty vegetable enchiladas I have ever tasted 😊 YUMMO YUMMO YUMMO

We were looking to get some fish tacos while exploring the island. Some of the people in our group are not raw fish fans so we settled on Don Goyo. Overall, food was great. We had fish tacos, fish burritos, and chips and guac. The gentleman running the place was very kind and the food was delicious. The parking lot is quite congested, but still plenty of parking. Not a bad place to stop for some solid Mexican food.

This place is tucked in the backside of Kaneohe shopping center. There was constant traffic coming in and out with dine in and take ours.
The foods were delicious and service was prompt. Taco, burrito, enchiladas and ceviche were all tasty.
I do not recommend the fried ice cream. The flan is very hard and solid in texture. It was good to try.

We stopped in for a quick lunch after visiting the botanical garden nearby. I had a chicken tamale which was delicious and filling! The rice was great, and I usually don’t eat the rice, but this tasted like the rice the locals made when we lived in Mexico! The salsa and chips were also good. Would definitely go again!
