The food is like zippys but better in my opinion, the only downside I feel like people say is the atmosphere because it’s just a small little building with the food in front of you when you walk in.. not bad but not the best

I remember when I was growing up in Kaneohe, the crack seed store with the red squid legs & the Iceeswe would buy after collecting Coke bottles for a 5 cent redemption. This was in the mid 1960's.That store was in that same strip mall that Fatboy's are in today, I was not impressed when I walked into the eatery with the cook taking a nap, a child playing on an I pad type device & wife in the kitchen. Noticed immediately the cook rinsed his handsunder the sink briefly, but did not was his hands!Was only one there about 4pm, so watched as I asked their most popular dish which Mrs. said was Garlic Chicken, I said ok , & watched the Chicken being placed in the deep fryer. Two scoops of rice & 1scoop of Mac salad completed my plate .Service was cordial, I noticed empty to go boxes storied wherever & the appearance of the dining area not very tidy! The chicken being deep fried was tasty & hot, Mac salad & rice good & the portionsoverall very good! Don't know if I will go back as Kaneohe has a lot of competitors, to experience!Cleanup & make you restaurant appealing would be a good start! Menu has a lot of variety! How good is it! Wash your hands please Mr. Cook!

Couldn’t agree more with all the bad reviews I read. Fat boy’s corporate should be made aware of this establishment because it is given the entire chain a very bad name. If this was my only experience with Fatboy’s I would NEVER go back to any of them. Corporate, you need to make a surprise visit to this place. I am sure you would remove your name on this place in a New York minute!!!

Fried chicken 10/10Corned beef hash patty 9/10Hot dog 10/10 It's fried LOL!Saimin 1/10Fried Noodles 3/10Omelette 5/10Bring Fatboys fried chicken to a party and it will be a hit. The corned beef hash patties are also great, with a nice salty flavor. Hot dogs are a classic, and these ones have an extra crunch from being fried. Saimin is okay at best - it could use more seasoning and they put the noodles in the broth which makes them soggy. Omelettes are decent but nothing special - just your basic ingredients, no frills. Fried noodles are a pass with little seasoning or effort put into the dish. All in all, Fatboys has great fried chicken that people are sure to enjoy.

Mac salad was spoiled. The person behind the counter felt like he was phoning it in. There was a small child (probably his) being cared for by playing on a tablet in a dining room being treated as a store room. Don't go. Don't waste your time or money.

No seating, the customer seating is the stockroom. Filthy. No restroom. Mediocre food. Needs a visit from health department.

Who ever is saying that food is good here has to be paid review. This food was salty that my body started to retain water right away. The amount of food for the price not worth it. Way different that the location in Kailua 45 to the trash because we couldn’t eat it how salty it was. disgusting ??

Probably the worst loco moco I ever had. Hamburger had no seasoning and was dry, eggs had no seasoning, chicken that came with it was raw, and the Mac salad was halfway frozen, wouldn't recommend it.
