We ordered the chicken, pork and garlic shrimp. Everything was delicious, especially the sauce, but the flies buzzing everywhere made it hard to enjoy the food. Bring bug spray and enjoy!

Love the Huli Huli Dippin Sauce! Have to keep it on hand for our kids and grand kids! Visit every time we are on the island for the wonderful Huli Huli Chicken!

this one is tricky. the first time we tried to find it they weren’t there. another time we were passing by we just happened to spot it and made a hard detour. it’s literally a rotisserie smoker pulled behind a white van. go. get a whole chicken. it’s so cheap and so amazing. the 2 people that work the van are super nice. pro tip, follow their ig to find out where they’re parking for the day! they’ll also update when they open and when they sell out.

We came close to closing time, so unfortunately the chicken was out for the day, but we had a delicious dinner nonetheless! The yellowfin and shrimp were both so good! We savored each bite! Atmosphere is really cool, many food trucks in the same area. Fun spot to stop!

After seeing all of the hype about Mike's Hulu Chicken, I decided to give it a try when we stopped for lunch at the food trucks. The chicken was just fair - it was not that good. I would not get it again. There are much better options from other food trucks in the same area.

We went here, having no idea it was on DDD. So glad we went. The pork and chicken when combined with the sauces are amazing. Would 100% go back if we get the chance on this trip.

The food was mediocre. They ran out of a lot of food options. The guy I ordered from argued with me when I said we didn’t get the famous Mike’s sauce, which, BTW, was the best part of the meal. There are better Huli chicken places. It seems like it might have been good at one time, based on other reviews.

between 2 hikes we went around this spot of food trucks and sat at Mike's. nothing fancy obviously. but we took the combo chicken, LauLau & Kalua pork. this was pretty decent and for the price a handsome box. the serving lady from Argentina was chatty and friendly. there is kind of 2 terraces to sit. one being darker if you so fancy. we had the clearer part in front of the truc. an additional goodies for this specific truc is that it does not face traffic but some sort of alternate parking (some reviews mention less easy to find) whihc makes for a quieter lunch.

We stopped here because of seeing this place on DD&D's. The food was good, and I really enjoyed the sides, although my family wasn't too thrilled about the macaroni salad (but they usually don't like that anyway). A few resident roosters running around and cover to save you from the sun. I think Guy F oversold this place which is likely why we rated it only a 3 star. Price is excellent when compared to other places on the island. It wouldn't be my must see recommendation, but if you are in the area and want some good food, I wouldn't hesitate to stop again. We did see Mike in the distance, so that was a nice perk.

Run out of chicken!! Can’t comment on the food, didn’t get a chance to eat any of it - A chicken food truck, which had no chicken… Disappointed to have driven all the way from the other end of north shore.
We visited Mike's Huli Chicken after seeing it on DDD back in Ireland. The plates were awesome, tasty, hot and fresh. If you are in the area it's definitely worth stopping for a bite.

I cant believe I have to leave 4 stars. We love this place. The chicken and pork are amazing. We had the garlic shrimp this time as well. Nothing better than the original Huli sauce too. Here are my issues, 3 years ago the Huli sauce wasn't rationed out and didn’t cost extra for more than 1/2 ounce. Most significant, no more white meat. What???? Only thighs and legs. Maybe due to cost? Inflation. Heck, Id pay extra. Lastly, they used to cook the chickens in the back of the lot. I didn’t see it this time after 2 visits. Im guessing they buy the chicken now and dont cook like the did before. Either way, still quite good. Quit being cheap on sauce and sell some white meat please.

We stopped here with another couple. I had the chicken plate and my wife had the teriyaki steak and shrimp combo. Both were delicious. The prices were about $15 a plate which was reasonable. There are also a bunch of other places for desert as well.

My family and I have been wanting to try Mike's Huli Chicken for over a year since seeing them on DDD. What a disappointment!! The chicken was not fresh and the customer service well there was none. No smiles, not helpfull. We spent about $150 including a T-shirt and when we where in the middle of eating my wife asked for the sauce for the chicken and they said it's .25 cents which is no problem but we all had messy hands and my wife asked if she could give them the quarter after she finishes eating and washes up. Since we are sitting right next to the window where you order it shouldn't have been a problem. Nope they refused to give a little 1 ounce cup of sauce. Even though we just spent $150 and they could see us eating right in front of them they did not trust us for .25 cents. REALLY? and when I asked for a T-shirt I just wanted to hold it up and see if I wanted to buy the 2x or 3x but they said no, you have to buy it before you can touch it again REALLY? You know customer service goes a long way to good reviews even if the food is just OK so that's why 1 star otherwise it would have been a 3 or maybe a 4. By the way they were not even busy so they can't use that as an excuse as there was only 1 table of 3 customers besides us.

I ordered the smoked meat plate, and 2/3 of it was fat!! In fact, there were a couple of pieces of pure fat that had to be 2 inches long. After I ate the small amount of meat, I brought my tray back to show the staff all of the fat pieces. The woman in charge said, “It’s pork. Pork has fat. I can’t help what I get. What, do you want a refund?” I said no but that I won’t be back. She said, “Well I’m sorry.” I’m done.
