Food was great service, service was great, kitchen took forever to get the food out. Me and 2 others sat at the counter. We were each waiting on one more item. Never got the item we ordered so almost 20 min later we decided to close our tabs and leave.

Not the Genki I remember, but still delicious food. Years so Genki was known for its sushi conveyor belts, unfortunately that is gone now.
The service and experience were odd; without prior knowledge of this restaurant it was confusing to figure out ordering, dishes, and payment at the end.
This is by no means a poor experience, just a slightly confusing one.
I still believe the quality of food was great for the price!

I do love their food. BUT everything is so self service at this point. You have to scan QR code to check in/put your name on waitlist. They no longer provide tablet at table to order. They give you a receipt with a QR code to scan and then you can order from the web browser. The workers only take your drink order and clean up after you leave. Takes away from the dine-in experience.
Anyways, it’s nice to see they put some new things on their menu. Spicy ahi...
