Great food and great service! We opted for the grilled and baked fish. Had a side of brussel sprouts and garlic bread. We did not get their famous prime rib as we had a late lunch. We were stuffed!
If you are there early, avoid the patio seats as the sun will beat you down! Get there early for parking and less wait for a table.

If you're looking for the epitome of fine Hawaiian dining, this is it.
NOTE: NO RESERVATIONS. Arrive early.
Went on a Monday at 6:00pm. Waited roughly 90 minutes for a table. In the meantime, we sat at a table in the bar, had drinks and appetizers. All apps we ordered were amazing including the calamari, seared ahi, poke, coconut shrimp, and crab dip. Drinks and service were amazing, as well.
Once seated, we were fairly full from the apps. Our friends ordered the prime rib (they shared it...trust me, its enough for two!), and I got the seafood chowder bowl and ceviche. The ceviche was okay, was fish instead of shrimp...little bit bland. The chowder was amazing but Joe's only had enough left for a cup vice a bowl. My wife has the spinach salad, liked it.
The only real criticism is the bathrooms. The floor in the men's room was flooded and stunk pretty bad. Felt more like a bar restroom than a high end restaurant.
Was expensive, not a surprise for Hawaii. Apps/drinks came to $180 and dinner was $140.
Great spot, great views and good food.

There is a substantial wait to be seated. Get there early!
There's a beautiful garden path walk to wander as you await a table.
It's a bit more of a formal atmosphere here in terms of attire than your typical Hawaiian attire ( shorts and flip flops).
Yes, you can wear those items, but if you don't mind standing out from the others, go for it.
I ordered the Fresh Catch seafood, which was a marlin type fish in lobster sauce. It was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Exceptional garlic mashed potatoes.
Can't recall what my husband ordered, but he didn't have complaints, which based on his cooking skills that's a good thing.
It's a dimly lit cozy atmosphere in the restaurant itself, suitable for an anniversary dinner or birthday. There were kids there, so it's a broad range of guests.
In my opinion, shake off wrinkles of your nice attire and enjoy a nicer upscale environment and meal.
The drinks and food were fantastic. Service was decent,no complaints.
I was so bummed I was too full for the lilokai creme Brule.
Parking: The parking lot is decent sized and definitely wheel chair friendly, but this place gets very busy.
There is a small hill down to the restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: There were quite a few children.
Well-mannered children would be ideal for this environment so other guests can enjoy meal.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a small hill down to the restaurant, but the parking lot is flat.
The garden path might prove to be a challenge. I believe there are views of it from the path, but it takes you back into a beautiful nature walk.
Stick to path

I recommend to get here before they open. We got there at 4:10 and waited about an hour and 15 minutes to be seated.
While we waited we checked out the garden and took some pictures.
Fortunately, we got seated with a wonderful view.
We ordered the crab dip, grilled fish, and coconut shrimp.
All were delicious and reasonably priced in my opinion.
I would recommend this place!

Last minute opportunity to eat at Joe's as we were leaving the islands. If we'd known how awesome it was we'd have been there everyday of the trip
Parking: Tight narrow corners careful with wide low cars!

We visited the Kaneohe location. The food and service was terrific. The wait for a table was about 45 minutes. But luckily the restaurant overlooks a beautiful and lush garden that you can explore to pass the time. The garden has a closed seating venue (probably to host reception events), a large pond with koi, and a walking path that circumvents the gardener that allows for exploration in its entirety. Be mindful that rain often falls from the clouds from the nearby ko'olau peaks, but this should be a common expectation for visitors of Oahu.
I definitely recommend eating here, and I will return again when I'm on Oahu.

We arrived 20 minutes before opening and got seated quickly.
We didn’t care where we sat but once we got seated there was a strong smell passing us (we think it was from the bathroom). We told our server about the smell and asked if we could be moved away from the smell so he flagged this to his manager. After a convo with the manager he comes back and says we needed to wait 10min to be reseated. As we were getting up, the manager tells us we should have told her we wanted to seat somewhere else when we entered. (We didn’t know our table was going to smell??) After her comment she tells us we would need to wait 1 hour. We were at our table for less than 5 minutes.
We didn’t want to argue so we sat at our original table and our server tells us he’s sorry and that “1hr wait time” was not what the manager told him earlier.
We get our food promptly and everything is extremely salty and the veggies are hard and undercooked.
Overall we had a bad experience with the food and the manager so we wouldn’t recommend. We loved our server tho and appreciated his efforts.

Our meal and waiter were great! We were seated on the balcony with a great view and we thought we scored a great table, except everyone and their mom wanted to come stand right next to our table for a picture, which was overly annoying, very rude and inconsiderate for a family to enjoy their meal. (talk about dinner and a show? watching everyone take duckface selfies)
