Food was alright but the truck is super unsanitary flies everywhere landing on all the food and no cutting board as well. Also ripped us off 2 plates and a poke for 100$.

I really wanted to like this place and support local but the guy definitely scammed us and made up random prices. We bought the plate lunch with lau lau lomi salmon and kalua pig. The food tasted okay but I'm leaving this review since I got FOOD POISONING. I've been throwing up all day. This guy no more aloha spirit. We don't teach people to scam and then give people food that will make them sick.

I had Lau Lau, kalua pig, rice, lomi salmon and 2 pasteles for $30. This was down home good Hawaiian food. The food truck looks a little sketchy, but I tell you it is so good and the guy running it is so nice!!!!! I highly recommend!

This guy is a scammer. He obscenely up-charges tourists compared to locals while telling a sob story about how people don't like him and his family doesn't talk to him. We were charged $40 for a plate and poke. Haha guess it was our fault for not reading reviews.

We originally stopped just for coconuts. I was interested in trying the pasteles and he said he'd fix us a plate instead. The food was very tasty but I can see why others say he can be pushy and tries to push to sell more to customers. I'm giving him 3 stars because the food was tasty and he was very friendly, but I dislike that he can be pushy.
Hands down best food in Hawaii and the owner will sit with you and tell you about their story. Great person and amazing food!

Absolutely delicious!!! Poke bowl with rice was excellent and garlic shrimp was amazing. She also brought over yummy fresh sliced pineapple for us. Fun conversation, great music, and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend!!!
