Great mall with a little bit of everything for everyone, still incorporating some of the major chain stores(Macy's & ,Ross's) mixed in with a great selection of local businesses. There is also a super selection of food places to choose from and if you are into shopping or eating, there's also a theater in the mall. Check it Out!
Awesome comfort food!
Living fairly near this mall, I have found myself going here often over the years. It started out being a fantastic place to shop, dine, etc., but more and more lately it seems almost to be a ghost town filled with closed shops and a seedy atmosphere. Possibly the only place I still visit is the movie theater, which has actually gotten better, adding new and better seats and new and better amenities. Other than that, the only other place I attend is a restaurant which has pretty good food and a great salad bar. The two biggest stores, Macy’s and Sear’s, have shown a large amount of deterioration and I understand Sear’s is closing. So I don’t think I’d recommend it.
Good prices, Generous portions. I drive from Honolulu to Kaneʻohe just to eat here. Alfredo and pasta are huge portions.
The Windward mall lost one of its anchor tenants. The Sears store at Windward Mall became a victim of Sears' downsizing. This store was one of our favorite places to shop when we were on that side of Oahu. There is still a Macy's in the mall, but the loss of Sears is a major disappointment. We are wondering what will fill the space that was vacated by Sears.
My wife and I shared the Kokos special. It came with the corn beef hash, spam, Vienna sausage, 2 eggs and fried rice. More than enough for the both of us. Everything was delicious!
It was okay, would I go again /NO
Could have been an easy 4 star for me but because the fried rice that comes with the Lechon Kawali was too salty for my taste. Lechon Kawali was great and dipping vinegar sauce gives a great match. I'll try other food on menu next time.
On Sundays, Windward Mall has a Farmer's Market indoors. It provides a cool respite with AC and lots of vendors selling fresh produce and local food treats. We enjoyed buying some local treats like kulolo and dried aku,
Good place for local cuisine

Great little shopping mall, easy to get around and plenty of parking. Great variety of stores including Macy’s and Ross.
Great mall away from all the tourists (even though I was one). Less foot traffic, awesome parking, and a great variety or shops/cafes/eateries. Best part of mall would be the train that runs through for kids and adults and also a big creative shop/ kiddies play area, Great to spend some time with your kids here and watch them go crazy with the others. Also a big arcade below for the older kids. Mainly locals that shop here I guess
Don't miss the farmers market inside the mall. We bought our produce for the week here. Bring cash - many places don't accept cards. I especially liked the homemade Lilikoi butter.
Great pancakes and Saimin soup!
Good food.
