Have been on the island for a couple of years now, coming from the East Coast, and had been missing good Jamaican food, and this place did not disappoint. Service was courteous and kind, restaurant is clean and when I went during the lunch hour, it was easily accessible with decent amount of parking in front of the restaurant and along the street. I particularly enjoyed the jerk chicken and rice and peas. The chicken patty was also delicious. All in all I plan on coming back to Island Patty and recommend it for you too!

Oh mama came correct and fed me so well. Honestly bragged to everyone it was the best thing I’ve eaten in yeeeears oh my word! Got the oxtail & I chicken curry patty. Been eating on it for 2days! My heart & belly are full 🥰 & will go back before I head home

I was craving vegan patties and the only Jamaican place was 25 mins away. My fiancé went to get them for me when I called I asked if the vegan cheese one was available the woman was so sweet she made me some right then and there from scratch.Talk about going above & beyond! The rice and peas are so flavorful as well as the cabbage.The plates are huge! Also I've been to Jamaica 10 times so happy to get authentic Jamaican food on oahu. I'm a happy woman with a very full satisfied belly.

As a proud West Indian woman raised in a large Caribbean community in Brooklyn (big up Flatbush) I am very supportive but often skeptical when I see Jamaican food being sold as authentic.
I had the chance to try out island Patty and it is a must if you like Jamaican food. The jerk is not just hot and salty like many ja-fakin restaurants. The rice is wonderful. Cooking with peas (red kidney beans) and coconut water is not easy. It an easily get too sticky or mushy. I came at the end of the day and the food was well cooked, fresh and and didn't have that soggy “been sitting all day” texture. You won't regret trying it.

Quick and efficient service, called in to take out food said 10 minutes, was a ten minute wait, clean restaurant, and healthy food. Would come back again!
The woman that helped me was really nice. I saw this place on a YouTube video and had to try it. (Food Fiend, Island Patty Kaneohe). I had the veggie patty with cheese. Soooo muuuuch flaaavor....yummmm! They open at 10am but was closed when I pulled up at 10:05. LOL They were still cooking other things but since they had what I wanted, I was able to buy my patties!!! Whew! Been there twice and haven't tried anything else cause I love the Patties! It's a little spicy, but PLENTY delicious. It's only take out. Parking might be tight, but you can park at windward mall and walk across the street.
