CLOSED! Went by this favorite restaurant this past weekend and was shocked to see it gone. In its place there is a Filipino restaurant still under renovation..... No note and no sign. If anyone knows what happened please let us know. Mahalo.

Very delicious and fresh! What a hidden gem in our Kaneohe Ville. If you're in the neighborhood come and check out this Korean hotspot, you won't regret it!

Overpriced! for the little bit of food you get!! And, flavor is considerably lacking in the spicy pork (one of my choices) and vegetables. Do your wallet and belly a favor--go across the street to get your korean food!

Good selection of side dishes. Pictures would help as I dont know what everything is. Big portions and. Good food.

Very disappointed in the vegetable plate. We were in a rush and needed to do a quick takeout for my daughter. Vegetables were not displayed so we ordered off a menu. Portions were really small for the price. Taste was ok, nothing special. We probably won't return. Lady was nice enough.

Entrees are good, shrimp were big and juicy, banchan just so-so.

Authentic Korean dishes in stone pot when requested. Excellent breakfast and surprisingly delicious pancake all day. Shrimps are purposely not deshelled entirely in order to retain flavor. Hot spicy garlic shrimp with the sauce on your rice totally worth coming back for.

This restaurant is in the center of there Building on the left side to the post office in Kaneohe. This is a Korean restaurant similar to Korean bbq . There give your main course and 4 side order choices you choose from there selection. The food is quite tasty and the quantity is pretty decent but i think there price could be bit more competitive if you ask me. Overall I would recommend to at least try this place out aleast once and make your own decision.

The "best"? Let's see... I kind of forgot about this small, locally owned, Korean restaurant in Kaneohe until I went to a party where the food was catered from Kaneohe Best Shrimp & BBQ. The food was so good that I had to ask where it was from! Yeah! There are about seven Korean eateries in Kaneohe and each of them have their loyal customers. I usually go to the one at Windward Mall because it's the closest to me. A well-known local chain has a restaurant next door to Kaneohe Best, but their parking is limited and they are a bit crowded... "Best" is the best because of the following reasons: LOCATION: between Pah Ke's and the US Post Office. It's in the corner, under the stairs, and on the ground level of a two-story building with the Laundromat on the right corner. It's not a well-known establishment, even though it's been here for seven and a half years! PARKING: Free - in the lot right in front of the building, or around the back FOOD: Garlic shrimp - Yes! The heads and legs aren't on, but some of the shell is. It's partially peeled so you can hold the tail and bite most of the meat out! Yay! It's less work to eat, so I enjoyed it more! The little pieces of minced garlic were seasoned so well that I got a spoon and ate the ones that fell off of the shrimp with the rice! Kalbi - I like mine more well done with a bit if burnt crisp edges, but I will give It up for this tender, moist version with high quality, smooth meat! There's less gristle and fat so it's leaner! Meat Jun - I can tell that they marinate the soft beef before the egg wash is applied. This makes for a tastier interior and less need for the dipping sauce. I did use the tangy shoyu-based sauce for some variety! Sides - Select four per plate. Indicate your choices by writing the corresponding number on a piece of paper. -shiitake mushrooms were a pleasant surprise! -chive pancake - pass - since it had a more gummy texture. -cabbage - average...not bad! -corn - *like* -choi sum - good! -seaweed was well seasoned! -tofu was topped with an awesome marinated onion/carrot/radish garnish! -kimchee was spicy, but not so bad since it had some savory flavor and I could consume it! AMBIANCE: This is a clean, neat, well-lit "Old School" diner type of place. Order and pay at the counter. Take out or dine in. I haven't seen it really crowded...yet... SERVICE: efficient, humble, and pleasant! VERDICT: It is more like a 4.5 stars, so rounding up to 5 stars! Looking forward to returning and getting MORE shrimp and maybe the steak and the chicken katsu... Nom nom! NOTE: Closed on Tuesdays

If you eat there, get there before 6:30 pm. Even though their signage says it closes at 7:00, it closes earlier..... so itritating, because I rushed to kaneohe from work only to be told that its closed. I don't need to come back here.

Great place for local breakfast. Nothing fancy. A bit on the slow side in terms of service but great for Sunday morning socializing with friends over a good meal. That's what we love most.

I love this place, fast, friendly delicious. The spicy chicken and spicy shrimp are excellent, everything else I've tried is as well. Quite the little unassuming place but well worth it and quite tasty. I was surprised after my 5th trip to look and see only 3.5 stars?? Really! I've had some nasty food in Oahu that has 4 and this place is definitely my favorite and hands down one of the best BBQ places I've been too for far cheaper. Taste is subjective but I would try it if I were you! Thankfully I'm moving down the street so I'll be back over and over.
