I would say if you want good Kajun food go anywhere else. The seasoning wasn’t strong enough, the garlic tasted bland and the sweet tea wasn’t very sweet.

I'd give 3.5 stars if I were given the option. The food isn't bad at all. After all, you can't go wrong with streamed seafood. The location is good as well. When we got there, finding a parking stall and getting a table was quick and easy. But the problem was the service. The place was not terribly busy. But we were sitting there for a while before someone came over to take out orders. Then it was another long wait, about 30 minutes, for the food to come. I don't know if it required that much time to cook the food. Maybe it did. But some warning could have made the experience much better. So the service was not bad, but very slow.

I have been going here since they opened up and Iong story short, I would recommend this as one of few seafood boils on the island that is consistent in all aspects.
Pricing for me is seemingly higher than other reviews but when I go here with my friends/family, we come hungry. I will say though, cost to quality is not worth it for certain items. My only specific “complaint” is their “fried baskets” are packed with your sides and barely any of the actual items you ordered.
Service has been consistent - of the many times I have dined in, which is probably 30 at this point, I have had one indecent server serving us, all the other times they have been so friendly and accommodating.
Busy or not, your orders are fulfilled in less than 30 minutes - quickest I have experienced was 15 minutes for 6 pounds and 2 orders of apps.
Alcohol is cheaper vs other restaurant . Definitely recommend their mixed Soju pitchers, alcohol ratio is respectable and also tasty, so if you have a group, just order one or two and share it.

Last Sunday. I ordered for take out of cajun shrimp with heads and calamari for my hubby. I was so craving for the shrimp and was very excited to eat it. Once I got home, I ate it but was surprised that the shrimp is so mushy. I tried another one but as I peel off the skin the meat is really mushy. I did not bother to return and showed how mushy the shrimp was, but will definitely not go back to order again. Hope they check the quality of their seafood before they cook and serve it to their customers so that the visit and experience is not as disappointing as mine.

We drove all the way from Waianae. And this is our first time to this location. Even with Mother’s Day, everything was amazing. From service to the food! Everyone was super nice and helpful! But we have to say, we love Ty! He has the most hospitable, approachable vibe and we love that! We’ll definitely drive this far just to eat here! And we’ll rave about it to our friends/family too. Mistakes happen but it sucks when it happens to you. We ordered dungenese crab and 2lbs crawfish as takeout. When we got home I noticed the crawfish felt a little too light. I threw it on a food scale and it was short over 1 lbs. I usually order 2-3 lbs of crawfish every other week and a pound of crawfish is not cheap in HI. We are already over paying for these mudbugs here so getting ripped almost $20 bucks is not ok. How does this even happen?

They let you know they take out 18% tip at time of seating. No joke service sucks almost no service at all. Minus we’ll go to the back and grab your food then your own apron and gloves. Order to go they’ll just irritate you the entire time.
