This is one of my favorite sushi bars on island! There may be a 30-60 minute wait depending on when you go. Being sat by the window at sunset is lovely and being sat by the sushi bar is fun too!The Spicy volcano roll, Waikiki roll, Osaka roll, and steak teppanyaki are all 10/10. The rolls are huge! Be prepared to spend some money, but it will be worth it. We finished off with green tea and strawberry icecream mochi. Can't wait to go back for more!

We stopped here for dinner with our family of 4 (our 2 kids are teens). We had just flown into Oahu and were heading to check in to our AirBnB on the North Shore. There was something for all of us, we got the Filet steak Tepanyaki, a Bento box, a Teriyaki chicken dish, and Sushi. We all enjoyed our food. The chopsticks are charming because they are wrapped in paper that says, "I Hawai'i" Our waiter was very attentive and quick in getting our food out, which was such a relief after our long day of travel. Thank you Kizuna!

This was our first time here, and we loved it! We ordered the chutoro, Hamachi, softshell crab, golden lobster roll, fantasy roll, ume shiso roll, beef tataki, and the salmon bites, yeah it was a lot but so worth it! I always like to get the softshell crab whenever I see it on the menus and this one was pretty good, very soft and the crab was a pretty decent size, they cut the crab in quarters which made it easier to eat and its on a bed of ocean salad which pairs well with the crab. The chutoro was so good that we ended up ordering another of that towards the end as well. It was so soft and fatty and went down smooth. The other rolls we got were pretty good, but the chutoro was my fave! The staff were friendly and helpful when we were trying to decide on the menu, and they were consistently checking up on us as well. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice, the lighting was just right. Some places have the lighting too bright, but the dimming and the dark colors make it comfy. I would definitely go there again.

I was so impressed by the quality of the sushi! The prices are reasonable! I'm a Nobu fan! That was my favorite Sushi place on Oahu before they closed.Kizuna can hold it's own. The restaurant has more of a family, local style apmosphere! I was also impressed with the delectable butterfish! The service could use more personality. It is efficient but I feel as if I am in a chinese restaurant where they service you by bringing your food then you eat and leave. The staff doesn't have any interaction with guests other then taking your order, serving your food, refilling your water, then bringing your check. Not much interaction with the guests. I was very keen on observing because of my first time visiting this establishment! Overall, the sushi and sides were quite tasty and delicious! Very fresh!Thank you Kizuna for opening on the Windward side!Parking: Odd location next to a laundromat! Restaurant is sizable. One is not aware of the size because restaurant is not visible from the main road and across from a supermarket. A true hidden gem!

The food is really good, tasty, and good-sized portions (it's not plate lunch portions, but good size for Japanese restaurant size). I had the tempura udon, which had a good flavor. But it could be hotter (temp. Wise) I would if also loved more things in the udon (it only comes with kamaboko and green onion) I guess I'm spoiled by the fancy Ramens.

We had an awesome meal with fresh sushi bar rolls and delicious bento box sets. I highly recommend trying the stuffed jalapenos sushi poppers for a fun bite-sized appetizer.
