Great fried chicken. Ono!!
But if not fresh out of fryer can be dry at times.

Normally have their Fried Chicken ... always a safe dish here... today I wanted something different so ordered the spicy Korean wings... not spicy just overwhelmingly salty...beware

I came in today excited to try their amazing chicken plate lunches and I got the garlic and furikake chicken with rice and Mac salad. This was amazing and so tasty good!!! I LOVED the furikake the best and their Mac salad is so good! Thank you for such amazing yummy food!

I think about KJ’s Local Grindz often and I live in Seattle. 😆 The furikake chicken is sooo good. Can’t wait to make it back to Oahu so I can return!

Garlic chicken n mochiko chicken are tasty every time, easily share a plate unless u really hungry then get 2 plates, fried chicken is legit as well

We always make a point to stop here when we're on the Windward side. Love their fried chicken. The roast pork gravy was moist and ono!

Childhood favorite to this day! The furikake chicken with noodle Mac salad never disappoints! Plate lunch, catering, or eating in I highly recommend!

Service is horrible. Kids run the front cash register without Adults. Called for 15 minutes with no answer. The food was good however I had to wait 20 minutes for my food.

Cheap Eats on windward side! Large selection of local ono grindz and known for their fried chicken. Has tables but not really a place to eat in.

I just ate today, July 22, 2025 and so far, the best fried and furikake chicken I've ever tasted for $15.00 only. 5 star rating and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PLACE TO EAT LOCAL FOODS. The best local grindz in Oahu. Very friendly, young and smiling staff. Can't wait to eat again in this awesome restaurant.
