Service is horrible. Kids run the front cash register without Adults. Called for 15 minutes with no answer. The food was good however I had to wait 20 minutes for my food.

Cheap Eats on windward side! Large selection of local ono grindz and known for their fried chicken. Has tables but not really a place to eat in.

I just ate today, July 22, 2025 and so far, the best fried and furikake chicken I've ever tasted for $15.00 only. 5 star rating and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PLACE TO EAT LOCAL FOODS. The best local grindz in Oahu. Very friendly, young and smiling staff. Can't wait to eat again in this awesome restaurant.

Came here for the first time. I had a gathering nearby so I phone ordered some catering a few days ago and my friend picked it up for me on time. I ordered the pan of fried chicken and a pan of fried furikake chicken. Another friend who I was also meeting up with, ordered a pan of their tuna spaghetti salad as well. It’s like a mac salad, but with spaghetti noodles instead of macaroni elbows, and mixed with some tuna. Sounds weird, but it was very delicious. Their furikake chicken was amazing, really juicy and flavorful. Their plain fried chicken was pretty good, but I think the flavored chickens are waaaay better. They also have a garlic chicken as well which I’d order if I’m ever back home in Hawaii Nei. Overall, these 2 pans were approximately 40 chickens for $137. Super expensive, but very delicious.

Staff is super nice. I forgot to ask my friend who was picking the order up for me to, take a picture of their current menu and then I forgot to take a picture of the food because I was too busy running around saying hi to everyone since this was our first gathering in 4yrs.

I got the Furikake Chicken and it was delicious and the mac salad! The mini plate is the perfect amount. Would definitely recommend!

When I tell you this place has THE BEST fried chicken on the Windward side you better be on your way righ now.
The only problem I had was the wait time for the chicken. BUT I shouldn't complain because it's made fresh and if you're gonna make good food it should never be rushed.

KJ's is an awesome plate lunch place. The food is really good, reasonably priced, and you get your monies worth. If you're on that side of the island, it's a must try. It is a popular place, and they do run out of certain items towards closing time, so get there earlier.

We had the pork adobo, garlic chicken, and furikake chicken plates. Everything tasted really good. The kimchee that comes with the plates was really good as well.

We will be coming back in the future.
