I’ve just wasted so much time driving here. There is nothing. Google maps leads to a parking lot with nothing but parked cars.

Phenomenal pastries, and the best staff around!!

I wasn't impressed with the pastries there. The pastries were a bit greasy for me and some of the flavors were not appealing at all.

Portuguese donuts... what is not to love. Eaten when they are hot, they are totally delicious. Melt in your mouth. Very different from normal donuts...more doughy ... normal ones I think are the best.

There was a short line as expected, but warm malasadas are tasty (if you're off the diet for this week!) They did mess up our order which was disappointing (what? No coconut filling!) but we weren't going to hang around to straighten it out.

The fact that people mere minutes away at the orignial Leonard's wait hours for these bakery items is insane to me. We walked up to the truck, ordered and had our hot, fresh malasadas in two minutes. They are pretty good! I am happy we got to try them. If I had waited more than a few minutes I would have been disappointed. This is the only way to do this.

We didn't make it to Leonard's in town but were surprised to see the food truck near Hanauma Bay. There wasn't too much of a line and the malasadas were hot and fresh. They are only $1.50 each! For once a business doesn't price gauge based on high demand! The cream filled were delicious. They were out of some flavors but it was already afternoon when we went. This is a great option if you can't make it to the store.

We visited the Leonard's store earlier in our trip and enjoyed the warm and fresh malasadas. Several days later, on our return from Hanauma Bay we saw their food truck in a shopping center parking lot and decided to get some more. There was a steady flow of customers but they kept up with the orders so the wait was not too bad. A local must try experience when in Honolulu.

Holy cow! We heard about Leonard’s bakery before visiting Oahu, but every time we drove by the line was outrageously long! One day we took a photography tour and our guide drove us to the food truck instead. There was NO line at all. They just serve Malasadas here, but that’s all we wanted anyway. We went back again for more while we were in town. They are cooked fresh to order and are so delicious! They are kind of a cross between a beignet and a donut. The cinnamon and chocolate were my favorites. Daughter loved the coconut. Wish we lived closer!

Excellent, the real local experience! Fast, easy and efficient service! Very well organized! Beignets very rich and fresh warm. One regret: we can’t bring and fly them back home, need to be eaten right away!

Haupia filling. That's all.
