The chicken was good. Shrimp wasn't as good as before. Staff is great. Stick with the chicken. We've never had the pork or ahi.

Absolute no. Chicken/shrimp combo chicken was dry, shrimp ok but not more. Not tasty at all, very disapoointing, driving there for miles. Place little dirty and outdated. Sorry, nothing of interrest... Will not visit again.

We bought two plates of Huli chicken and sat down to eat right away. As soon as we opened it, there was a strong smell of spoiled chicken. This is not the Huli chicken we were expecting. We know very well what real Huli chicken tastes like, but this was nothing like it. We are very disappointed!
The Huli Chicken lives up to the hype! I was told to go here from a coworker who had visited years ago. I didn’t know it was as famous as everyone else seems to know, but it was amazing! The smell of the chicken roasting will draw you in and the flavors will keep you as a customer forever. I can see why this place stuck with my coworker, and it will be a staple for me too whenever we are back in Hawaii!!

We are here 10 years ago after seeing this pkave on one of the TV Food Shows. It was great then , we are here last week. YUCK! And dirty! Chicken was pink , uncooked, and cold. Cats and chickens wondering all over the tables.

I had eaten here before and it was good. My meal last week had to be tossed. The chicken was so tough I had to bring it up to have them cut it. I tried to eat it but kept gagging from the tough texture and flavor. Will never eat there again.

Not quite the hole in a wall comfort food one would expect since it’s actually inside of a bus on the side of the road. This is one of our favorite Huli Chicken and a must stop every time we visit the North Shore.
No fuss, but it’s messy, fast, simple and tasty, a locals staple. Hard to describe, it’s just simple a good.
The chicken is seasoned and grilled to perfection, the issue is that it’s not fresh off the grill, while Kayla and LauLau pork are just phenomenal, you have to have a bit of an exotic taste to eat the LauLau though, it is cooked inside leaves and have a bit of a bitter taste. I personally like it.
