I arrived when there was no line, but the place was complete chaos. Staff were running around like ants, and it was impossible to get help from anyone. It felt like the person at the front was acting as a manager, server, and delivery handoff all at once. Even the bartenders were carrying food orders. This looks very unprofessional. The restaurant is clearly understaffed — not enough managers and not enough servers. They are trying to do the work of several people with one or two employees, and it does not work. I waited almost an hour for my order. Very poor experience.

Order: Hot and Sour soup Kung pao chicken Szechuan Beef Singapore noodles
Overall was okay. Hot and sour soup was good. Kung pao chicken was pretty bland. The Singapore noodles tasted okay, the curry flavor was there but seems like they didn't put salt. The Szechuan Beef was more flavorful than the chicken and noodles. Overall, all three plates came out lukewarm. Seems like the meat was precooked and tossed into each different dish, because only the meat was lukewarm, the veggies were at a warmer temperature. I didn't try the sushi, but for the hot dishes, you're better off going down the road for some better tasting Chinese food.

Ordered online, and I received a text that said it would be ready in 45 minutes. I arrived 40 minutes later. My order wasn’t ready yet, so I waited by the host stand to let them know I’d arrived, where I wasn’t acknowledged for 15 minutes. I was directed to sit at the bar, but wasn’t offered a water or soda while I waited. There wasn’t even a bartender. I was never given an updated time my food would be ready. Food came out 35 minutes late with no apology.

Absolutely the best sushi in Kaneohe. Always fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere feels modern and welcoming. Every visit is consistently excellent.

The menu is a mix of Japanese favourites and Thai classics. The dishes are generous in portion and tasty. The staff is over-the-top service-oriented and the prices are pleasantly and surprisingly modest.
All in all, Moonga Asian Bistro promises to be a dining delight.

I go here once a week. Literally the best sushi of my life. Can never go wrong with any of their rolls. The service is always the best, the employees are amazing and so sweet. The atmosphere is incredible, weither it’s lunch or dinner time. Food comes out so quickly. I can never say enough good things about moonga!!
