We stumbled on this place by accident and it has the best chop suey. It was so good that we returned for a second time. The first time we ordered the chop suey, and the combo dinner plate...both reasonably priced. On our return visit we ordered chop suey again and fried rice...both delicious. The inside isn't much to look at but the food is fresh and fantastic.

Good food!. MuiKwai makes the best baked manapua and porkhash.

For the price the portions for take out are very disappointing. Especially for fried rice. It's probably the most inexpensive item on the menu. Could keep a satisfied customer coming back if the to go box was filled like most places do around here. We got the general saos chicken and same with the portions for the price. Sadly won't be going back for this reason. Will try another place instead.

Don't get me wrong, your food is good. BUT, ease off the salt especially the crispy Gau Gee, it's was way too salty.

Compared to other Chinese restaurants this is more flavorful. This is my go to won ton soup and won ton mein.

I've been coming to this place for the last 35 years. I can't remember that far back. Lol I'm 63. What I can tell you is the food has been very consistent over the last three decades. The restaurant has changed hands over the years, but the food remains the same. Their preset, lunch, and dinner plates was my constant companion during college that's for sure. We celebrating birthdays, graduations, celebration of life, here over the years. The service is excellent. The staff gets to know you, so when enter, the staff remembers your favorite dishes. The restaurant can hold up to 80-100 people. So it's perfect for large gatherings. Some of my favorite dishes include the crispy Gau-Gee, spicy ginger, onion, wanton and the Taro duck. They also make one of the best Jook or rice porridge. The menu is huge! Over over 60 different dishes, maybe more. If you have a large party, parking may be a little tight because there are only about 15 to 20 stalls. But after hours you can park over at the Yogi building. This is definitely considered a local eats. If you find yourself on the windward side and craving Chinese food, I would recommend this place.

Bought two dinner plate take outs, one with lemon chicken the other with cold ginger chicken. We were pleasantly surprised! Everything tasted good, the portions were decent. The chow mein was moist and delicious. The one crispy gau gee was sitting on the fried rice which was yummy. The kau yuk was tender and tasty and beef broccoli the same. As for the ginger chicken, there was plenty of sauce for the meaty portion. We were not disappointed! We will be back when we are ono for a Chinese plate!

Comfort food! Simple yet tasty. Service is fast so waiting held to minimum. No problem with parking unless a large celebration in restaurant.

IMHO the best Chinese food restaurant in Kaneohe. An older restaurant in appearance that prepares generous portions of tasty dishes. The menu contains a decent selection of items with the added flexibility of customizing dishes to your particular tastes. Prices are reasonable and are a good value. The medium sized parking lot is shared with another business, but spaces are readily available. Well worth a visit if you are in the area and have a yearning for good chinese food.

My girlfriend brought me a dinner plate combo as I was eating it I found a found a bug in the fried rice as I was about to take another bite I instantly spit out the food the threw away the plate. Check ur fried rice. I would take a picture of the bug but I was irritated waiting for the food to find a bug in the food and just lost my appetite. CHECK YOUR FOOD!!!
