Very popular stop along east scenic drive, worth a stop. Ordered Luau pig, their chicken long rice resembles Asian chicken rice noodle, super flavorful. On top of that, their sweet lady comes with a blend of ice-cream and coconut milk based dessert but not super sweet in western standards of dessert. Highly recommended chicken long rice if you are rice noodle fan and their sweet lady on a humid Hawaiian summer.

Driving back from Hau’ula to Kaneohe, we stopped for lunch. We each had the laulau and it was pretty good. The side of lomi salmon was fresh. The haupia had a funny texture. Maybe we had a bad batch? The Auntie at the counter was friendly and sells chili pepper water. We didn’t have dessert, but will be stopping again soon!!

It's simple food modestly prepared and expensive. The ice cream has some pastry at the bottom, the squid luau is a green slimy mess with bits of mystery meat in it, the pulled pork you can get anywhere and it's preparation here was completely uninspired. This was a disappointing "experience".

Delicious food with generous portions. The poi paired well with the entrees. Great view. One of the best ice cream I’ve ever had

A must visit if you’re on the island. It’s known for its authentic Hawaiian cuisine, but I went for its famous dessert: The Sweet Lady of Waiāhole. It’s a treat of warm Kulolo and Haupia ice cream, which is warm taro on the bottom and coconut ice cream on top. It’s so delicious and that alone is worth the drive. There was no one there when I got there so I had my dessert in less than 2 minutes. If I’m ever back on the island, I’d come get this again but try the other food as well. Great place and a must visit.

Every time I come it's good, staff is always friendly and they get the food out pretty quick based on how busy they usually are.

Waiāhole Poi Factory is an incredible restaurant! They serve delicious Hawaiian food and their sweet lady of Waiāhole was by far the absolute best. The lomi salmon was also very good! The kalua pig was really good and not very salty! The flavors are absolutely amazing, and the atmosphere is so welcoming. It's definitely a must-visit if you're in the area!

What do I know about Hawaiian food? Not much, but THIS WAS MY FAVORITE authentic hawaiian meal during our Oahu trip! Soooo much flavor, heart, and depth! Sadly you need to legitimately drive to try this place out, in the middle of no where, but it's worth it! Food: - Kanaka Nui: Feeds two people! This is the more straight up combo of several items. - Laulau is perfectly smokey with the taro leaves with juicy pork inside. I'd get just this with rice - it's quite vibrant in flavor. - Kalua pig was full of robust flavor and juicy - Chicken long rice was reminiscent of ginger + chicken noodle soup. hearty and delicious. I'd love a bowl of this one day. - Lomi salmon - thought this was pico de gallo but it was small chunks of salmon. Refreshing and fresh! - Poi: They're known for having a great consistency. Loved the slight sour taste. It's like sour taro. Next time I wont get this mainly because it's just not what I'm used to as a base. But it was subtle - Squid Luau: That coconut milk base and the thin slices of squid - delicious! - Haupia dessert: warm and semi sweet coconut based dessert. - Also got some rice on the side (as recommended) - Tried a side of spice water. That stuff burns! But gives it a nice kick! - Sweet Lady of Waiahole dessert: Got it with one scoop of icecream and the warm kulolo. Unique flavor and not too sweet. Not entirely what I'm used to for dessert for my taste but it was nutty, sticky, and quite flavorful! Goes very well with the coconut icecream. Pros: - Wow what depth of flavor and heart that goes into this meal! No wonder it's a hidden gem in the middle of no where. - Decent prices compared to Waikiki. - Again, FLAVORRSSSS yummmmmmmmmmmmm - We got there 30 minutes after opening and there were no lines. By the time we left there was a swarm of humans...hmm...11am? - The ladies helping out the register/orders were so kind and helpful. And pretty funny too. Cons: - Some tables but not a lot. Also you're in the thick of nature soooo just FYI. - Some parking areas around. Not a ton. Alright. So. This is the spot. Next time i'm in town, WAIAHOLE is the way to go! Easy five star experience!
