Disappointing Fish Tacos Experience in an Overrated Food Truck SceneReview:I recently tried the fish tacos at this food truck in Hawaii, and I must say, I was quite underwhelmed. For $16, you would expect to receive a satisfying meal, but unfortunately, that was not the case. The two tacos I received were filled with fish that lacked any discernible flavor. It was as if the fish had no seasoning or character at all, leaving me feeling like I was eating bland, uninspired food. To add insult to injury, the tacos were accompanied by a side of rice and beans, which did little to elevate the overall experience. While I appreciate the effort to provide a complete meal, the lackluster taste of the fish left much to be desired. These food trucks on Hawaii are generally overrated and almost feel like a tourist trap, with few exceptions. It's disappointing to see such high prices for mediocre food, especially in a place known for its culinary offerings. Overall, I left the food truck feeling disappointed and unlikely to return, opting instead to seek out better dining options on the island.

Al Pator is the best I’ve had outside of Mexico. Mahi mahi was fresh and delicious. Great homemade hot sauce. Waited about 15-20 minutes at 2pm and not busy but worth it.

We ordered some tacos with the fish of the day (it was tuna), tacos al pastor and beef nachos. Everything was good and correct, but we lacked a little more flavor in the dishes. Since they prepared the meat for the al pastor tacos, I'm not excited.

Being from UT, we have a lot of authentic al pastor tacos. It was the right amount of fish in the burrito for the price, but it lacked flavor overall. Both the tacos and the burrito were pretty bland. Needs a yummy sauce and spices! Mostly just tasted like pinto beans. Came away feeling like we didn't get what we wanted.

Nice friendly people. Pretty good tacos. The fish was mahi and cooked decently. Especially for the price was pretty good. Cause most places that’s just the pride for two tacos. Here you also got beans and rice and a lil guacamole. I’d definitely go back & recommend.

The Al Pastor Tacos were the best we’ve ever had and we’ve had MANY in CA and NV. The fish tacos were fresh, moist, and good but could use a little seasoning. But the Al Pastor tacos are worth every penny. The parking is a little rough, but the front lady was extremely nice!!
