Kountry Kitchen is a very popular restaurant in downtown Kapa’a. There is always a line and seating inside is limited. Parking can be a challenge. On the day we were there, it was pouring down rain and we had to park down the street and walk through through the rain and across the busy street to get there. There is a tablet outside the front door and you register to put yourself on a waitlist. We were number nine in line when we registered and we waited for about 20 minutes for a table. Once inside, we were seated in a small booth in the center of the restaurant. Inside is decorated very rustic mostly with roosters and chickens. There’s a small gift shop featuring roosters but with other gifts as well. I ordered a macadamia nut latte for seven dollars and a traditional breakfast. My guy ordered the same. Our breakfast bill was just over $50 for the two of us. The food was good and the service was as well even though they were super busy. I’m not sure that we will be back, but it was a good experience and I’m glad we checked it out.
Very simple perfect breakfast Done nicely at mainland prices. Yum.

Love this place! Discovered on our last trip to Kauai and still love the amazing servers, food and atmosphere. Macnut french toast and local Portuguese sausage did not disappoint.

Amazing food and wonderful staff. The Luau Omelette with char siu rice was one of the best breakfast’s I’ve ever had. 5 stars. Get here early!

We stopped in for breakfast while driving through the town on our way to sightseeing. The place was packed and they stated a 30 min wait but it turned out to be only 12 mins. Our server (Carrie S) was awesome! The food was good and plenty. I would rather again if I was back in the area. Give them a try. Cheers!
Our fist time here and no wonder this place has a dedicated electronic wait list out side. The food here is fantastic. It’s oozing with character and charm… the staff were lovely. We had the Luau Omelette with Char Siu side was heaven!!! I’m generally not a fan of French Toast but the Coconut French Toast was light and lovely. The sauce is on the side in a great sized jug. So skimping on the coconut sauce. Thoroughly impressed. Met a couple who come here every time they are on Kaua’i and I can see why. Everyone needs to try this place even just once, but I feel confident saying you’ll be back.
Breakfast wait of 35 minutes. I ordered the corned beef hash, poached eggs, hashbrowns and toast. Perfect eggs, hashbrowns potatoes cooked perfect one sided, as they were shredded very fine it needed a flip and something cooked on the rare size. The hash was my issue as it said it was their homemade, but it was not straight out of a can but close, because of the processed meat and potato pellets of Hormel with added slices of fresh corned beef shredded but overall had little flavor added. Toast was supposed to be buttered but not. The pancakes with Macadamia nuts was over the top yummy goodness.
My pineapple iced tea was a sour disappointment. I asked for honey to improve so that I could drink it. Server had such a tiny sweet voice and was hard to hear, but was very attentive. My overall is to return and try other menu items.

Not worth the time and money! My family of six ordered all different breakfast items. We were all underwhelmed. Pancakes were salty, beef patty flavorless, gravy tasted like it was from a packet. The cooked refused accommodate my daughter's food allergies. She ordered white rice and Spam off the menu. We were told they don't have a pans to cook the food separately. I wish we would of walked out of the restaurant.

We had a really lovely breakfast. Carrie was a great server. We are originally from England and like our tea hot, we asked Carrie if she would heat both of our cups for a minute. It was lovely.

Rather a long wait and seating against the wall, that’s why we don’t give 5 stars because the food was excellent!
